Nice trail for a dog walk ( : Wore some micro spikes as it’s pretty slippery right now.

This is a great trail to see a little nature in the city. It took about an hour, my phone battery died partway through so its hard to say for certain! I’ve done this trail before and it’s a lovely 5km stroll with the dogs

Great relaxing hike within the city. Good in winter conditions and very well marked trail. Very easy to do. Great for birdwatchig.

Originally found this trail on the app. It's a paved walking trail, not bad. There are signs everywhere for no dogs. This is NOT a dog friendly walk.

Beautiful trail with lots of wildlife, only downside is its close proximity to the deerfoot which can be quite loud

Beautiful spot for a stroll. Not a hike, more of a relaxing walk to take in some bird watching.

This isn't a park for general activities. it's a marshland sancutuary for migrating waterbirds. Don't come here if you want to bring you dog or jog or ride a bike. it's a place where you stroll along the boardwalk with a set of binoculars and watch birds. in this department it's a lovely outing.

Lovely inner city nature sanctuary. So peaceful. 30 mins outer loop with breaks for photos

Great trail for kids, took the inner loop as it’s a bit shorter.

Oct 19 Fun afternoon hike, stick to the black diamond trails the main path leads out to the road and some is blocked off by construction. Beautiful foliage still this time of year, came across the 1940s cars and the Paskapoo Big Rock, mildly mucky at parts but would come back. 3.2 km took us an hour including taking pics.

Nice city trail run, good footing not to wet

Fun little trail through the woods. Neat things to look at like an old building foundation and old cars. Some nice incline to get your heart rate up.

It took me an hour including stopping for photos and to enjoy the view. A nice hike close to town, it starts with a descent and then flattens out for a while as you wander through trees, passing a couple of old cars and a cute little waterfall. The hike back up is steep which makes you feel as though you’ve gotten a nice workout. Shared the trail with bikers, dogs and only a few other hikers. Very nice.

I love this one for an inner city walk! It has a few cool surprises such as an old graffitied basement foundation, old 1940s/50s cars, and a Buddhist prayer site! A nice walk to take the kids on for an afternoon.

Wide level paths. Excellent for bird watchers. Many people to say hello to a long the path. There are also a few options for a shorter or longer walk. A hidden gem within city limits. We saw a faun, a double-crested cormorant, geese, seagulls, magpies, a woodpecker and mallards. Other species that we could not identify too. Observing four ducks land in the water was magnificent!

Great easy trail run, I had my dog I let him run but kept his leash on.

Perfect little urban adventure. Only saw one other person on the trails on my midweek visit. Flowers and berries still adding colour and just a beautiful time of year to check this place out. A bit of seclusion in the busy city. Great to just go explore all the different trails.

Nice easy inner city walk. If you’re fortunate you can sometimes see deer.

Poorly mapped out. Sections of the trail closed to general public.

Forest bathing! This trail is flat and surrounded in greenery and flowers with a little babbling brook. It’s a perfect fit for you if you don’t have very much time and need some serenity and a taste of nature close to the city! It’s suitable for pushing a stroller too if you have kids and it’s great for walking dogs. It took me just over an hour walking slow and taking my time and enjoying it.
