In all probability the only shaded trails on Tortola since the 2017 hurricanes. The BVI National Parks Trust has opened up the trails and done a pretty decent job of it. Covered the whole of the Central Trail, a section of the south Trail and full length of the North Trail with spurs in 2 1/4 hours with moderate heat, 86F. Approach was a bit muddy from recent rain. Trails were well drained and dry. One major blow-down needs to be cleared at 0.25 miles from the entry gate on the North Trail. Others are easily navigated. Signage is in place for all trail crossings, though some need to be secured. Overall, a good experience and well worth the time.
