Pedra Grande Trail is located in the Cantareira State Park, considered one of the largest urban forests in the world. This trail is all paved and very well signposted with signs indicating the direction until reaching the lookout (Pedra Grande). Upon reaching the viewpoint you will find breathtaking views, a panoramic view of the city of São Paulo and the rich Atlantic Forest. Next to the lookout you can also find the Casa de Pedra Museum, where exhibitions are held. Opening Hours: Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 8 am to 5 pm. Please arrive until 3pm to make to the Pedra Grande and Samambaiaçu trail. Entrance fee: R$15, under 12 and over 60 years old are free of charge. Students pay half price.
