Nice walk, but don’t go after a heavy rain, it is extremely muddy in some places when going down or uphill.

The walk overall was very nice, but not completely charming as there were several urban sections of the trail. The view pont is very beautiful, but it is possible to drive near to that point and picnic. The hike is not necessary for the view.

Wonderful walk with so much to see.

great trail to walk. not to difficult

Nice trail but, except for the river bend overview, not that spectacular. Especially for the Ardennes. Quite a bit of the walk is though urban or rural areas. Just a small part of it is where you feel like you're actually walking in nature.

The trail starts in the historic city of Lier. After about 2km's you enter the local forest. Halfway the trail U walk along the borders of the Grote Nete River. The walk ends with a little stroll through the historic city of Lier.

a nice short walk, very easy. shame that you can't really get away from populated areas. probably as good as it gets in Flanders.

Agréable ballade dans les environs d'Esneux.

Loved it. Discover the real green Brussels

Run of the mill waterfront stroll, suitable for strollers and wheel chairs. Sadly not a loop and the camping and other building on the southern part of the trail are in bad shape. Positive side: walk into Hamoir for icecream at the Bio-shop, they have lovely flavours.

Nice walk through various neighborhoods of Brussels including two small lakes and the Cambre Abbey and its gardens. Started and ended at the Monte des Artes overlooking central Brussels and the Grand Place.

I have done many, if not all, parts of this loop over the years. They make for easy running switching between gravelly paths, paved paths, earth paths, and streets/sidewalks. There are some hills, but nothing that should give you a hard time.

Really beautiful, unbelievably quiet city. Gondolas and canals take you around, or you can walk, or bike. Numerous little candy stores sell many kinds of delicious Belgian chocolate.
