Length: 9.9 mi • Est. 6 h 14 m
A strenuous ascent that requires a good basic level of fitness. From Gantenkopf, the trail goes over to Nova Stuaba and the Versattla cable car station. Behind the cable car you will climb over scree fields to Versatla and then continue on the ridge to the highest point of Madrisella. From the Matschunerjoch it will be rather steeply down the stream and boulder fields. The stream leads to Saressee Lake and the Alpe Nova cheese factory (where you can taste the dairy products.)Show more

The route begins at the Fellhorn station and goes along a mountain range that marks the border between Austria and Germany for a good stretch, until descending towards Lake Frieberg, in a fairly wooded stretch. Not extremeley difficult except for its length. From the lake, we return to the Fastenoy station by local roads.Show more

Then it goes downhill again past the Wormser Hut, where you can strengthen yourself before you start the descent into the valley.Show more

The first stage of the Lechweg goes on easy paths through the headwaters of the river - here the Formarinbach and Spullerbach flow, which finally unite to form the Lech. It goes past the ibex monument, over wooden bridges and footbridges. Shortly before the goal you come through the district of Zug. Here you can take a short break and see how the freshly caught fish from the pond is grilled on site. The route can be covered in around 5 hours of walking.Show more

The route leads to the Shcessapana and on to the Schafsköpe. Beautiful views await you, but you should be sure-footed and in good basic fitness, as the route is almost completely rocky. The last 300 meters to the Schafsköpe are particularly steep.Show more
