During winter, this remote corner of Vorarlberg is not so easy to access, but it is definitely worth the efforts. After the ascend with the Vermuntbahn cable, the Tunnel-Taxi brings the guests to the Bielerhöhe. The drivers have impressive skills and give you a bumpy ride through the narrow tunnel at incredible speed, but always under full control. At the Bielerhöhe starts the winter hiking trail over the ice on the frozen Silvretta water reservoir. In a few years, this experience will be no longer possible when the new pump storage power plant will be in operation. From the southern end of the lake, the path goes up to the Wiesbadner hut.
