A leisurely round of pleasure - especially on hotter days, as it is pleasantly cool in the Kohlergraben - for everyone who likes to crank and want to climb a few meters. The tour starts on asphalt (Großkohlergraben to the end of the valley), and then on forest roads. In Oberdambach you are briefly on the asphalt again, until you reach the junction towards Damberg. Here it goes on again on forest roads. From Oberdambach you have a beautiful view towards the Ennstal. The round is technically undemanding (so nothing for trail lovers).Show more

From Gründberg, head onto the road/trail, then into the forest (you will be heading up, note that it will be steep and slippery). This is part of city hiking trail. The forest road continues sliding into a track forest then to road. Before Lichtenberg (the route from Bachlberg or Diestleitenweg opens), continue on the GIS hiking trail. The trail branches directly to Gis to the eidenbergalm - traunerhütte, DH, and then down, but back on old route back. Kirschlschlag to the transmitter, Heli, known route to Oberbairing, St. Magdalena. At the end turn to Altenberg-Mirellental-Galli, continue horse promenade DH.Show more

Go to the Bachl-Höhenweg. It's a steep uphill. Turn left (as a return trip), then you will see a beautiful forest path. Yellow signs for GIS are right above the meadow. Then drive on the street through Lichtenberg into Gisstraße. Then right again into Hametnerstrasse, Kaiserberg, into the forest. Further on the Kaiserberg (steep, only road) better left in the forest to the Gis car park.Show more

Varied route on rather strenuous paths over the Göblberg through the Hausruckwald to the Widhackerkreuz. There are always trailige sections, although rather run rather flat, but still have fun and demand a bit of perseverance over time. Every now and then one also passes points with first-class views. In this case, start with the landlord on the Riegl in Frankenburg, who of course offers an excellent stopover after the round. There are also other restaurants directly at or near the track.Show more
