You must always inquire at the Sölden mountain guide station whether the steep slope is free of ice. The tour is very demanding from the Braunschweiger Hütte, but the trails are well developed and the views make up for all the effort. It goes over blocks and crossings secured by ropes; the descent is quite steep. When it is foggy and wet you should avoid the rocky path over the Pitztaler Jöchl and choose the path over the Rettenbachjoch.Show more
