Needs to be done early in the morning and fly nets are a must! But great views from the top and a testing hike

Tough hike with all the stairs but great views!

Interesting trail but river was dry.

Very easy trail, good for beginners to learn the absolute basics. But the views are amazing and the journey is peaceful and enjoyable

Fantastic bush walk - challenging for small children at times, more of an obstacle course with fallen trees, but a great view the whole time

Some nice running to be had but lots of steep rocky ups and downs

Rode south on the Wadandi Track section of Rails to Trails from Cowaramup (just behind SES on Miamup Rd) to Carters Rd Trail Head just before Margaret River town. Distance is approx 12kms. Gradient is near flat, easy and surface overall is not too slippery. Trip took about 50 mins with with 6yr old and 7 & a 1/2 on 3 speed bikes and a couple stops but at a fairly casual pace, who lasted the distance without asking “are we there yet”. Trip without kids in about approx 35-40mins depending on your pace.

Easy ride with a great view

Fantastic walk / scramble to Toolbrunup Peak. Moderate difficulty. No difficult bits if you are fit and able, some spots require you to duck under low branches. Worth the hike for the view.

Beautiful and peaceful

Interesting track, more of a "choose your own adventure" at the moment but still a good little scenic workout. would love to see it in the wet months when it's green and the rivulets are flowing. If you're not confident without a map, directions and clearly defined paths take someone with you

Difficult, hot and not for the faint hearted but well worth the effort, there are many walks in this area all hard but very rewarding beautiful part of Australia. Take plenty of water and bathers or not generally you have the swimming holes to yourself so no bathers required just take in nature, naturally.

yanchep end the first 7 km is the most scenic after that dont bother

Short easy trail. The blow holes were occasionally misty but very noisy. This would be an excellent sunset walk on a wavy day.

Great trail

Easy to follow thanks to the offline location.
Bring your suncream and a hat if the weather is hot.
Watch your step in case there is a snake ( I didn’t see any snake).
I was lucky I saw 2 kangaroos !

A good short distance trail. Two tracks to choose from, easy to get lost and hard to find your way back.

loved this walk

Cliff top walk to start, followed by a descent into the gorge. Sandy section then a rock ledge at 3.2km mark, where path seems to dissapear for about 20m. Gets better. Path opens up again. Final 2km are sand followed by a climb back up to natures window.

Stunning scenery.

Great little walk. Not too challenging. Did it in November on a 24 degree day so pretty easy. Not too much water in the river. Quite a few steps though.

my favourite if all hills trails. absolutely beautiful. i would rate it as the higher end of moderate due to hills and narrow paths. but its worth every bit of pain. closes 1st nov each year.

love this trail. done it many times. 2hr 35 mins from john forest car park. about 40 mins extra if you park by tunnel in swan view. great peaceful hike with beautiful spots. ive done it in pouring rain and walked through gushing water running down the trail paths and it was still beautiful. if you do it in winter with heavy rain just fallen bear this in mind and also about 7km in the track will be under water so you have to jump over a waterfall which is easy. wild flowers are beautiful in sept.

took just under 8 hours to walk. bit boring to be honest. but a great challenge. we started at glen forest at 7.30am and got back about 4.30pm with a stop at the 20km mark mundaring for lunch.
