Kings Park is always beautiful. Finding path names is a little difficult, they are also not included on KP maps. For some reason the app sent us the wrong way so we ended our last leg of the walk quite differently to the listed walk. A note on this to find Boomerang path is to walk below (around) the kids playground.

Beautiful easy little trail to do in the peak of winter! In summer you don't even realise you are following a lovely river. in winter you hear the water running!

Amazing trail, enjoyed every bit of it! The trail gets very challenging after the first 3 kms, tredwell, specially in wet weather.

A very challenging trail!

An amazing river trail, lovely view of the flowing river.

Great views, beautiful colours. Bird life & native flora.

Lovely views, could do with better signs along the paths

Feel that burn! The initial incline was steep and felt like it went on forever, this was my first hike in years and I’ll be the first to admit I was unfit back then, I did this little hike with my two sons 8 & 10 and friends with their two kids 3 & 11 we all were varying levels of fitness. After the initial ascent it was a lovely walk ❤️ this is also a dog friendly area

Rated as moderate, however some sections hard. I think it would be about 3km of soft sand at the end of the track followed by a steep rocky climb to the top. Worth every step, the scenery & geology was amazing. Bird life good too, saw black swans, pelicans, rainbow bee-eaters, grebes & little robins. Start the walk at first light as it gets very hot. A great walk

Great little gorge walk, recommended to go early morning or evening as no shade and can be hot. was lucky to see two black footed rock wallabies and an Osprey. Took our 12 year old and twin 8 year old kids and they were fine walking the full length.

Amazing! the walk on the sand is pretty hatd but gift to you a lot of emotions!

We visited the area as part of the Cape to Cape Hike. We started with the Meelup Trail and thought that Bunker Bay was the prettiest beach ever... until we got to Smith's Beach. Wow - what a gorgeous place to visit. Sugarloaf was also very pretty in the late afternoon. I think the only thing prettier than the Northern section of this coastline is the Southern section - check out the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park - Augusta and Boranup guide (which should show on the Nearby Guides section).
