The park gate closes at 5pm on a Sunday, so make sure you have plenty of time to complete it. We arrived at 3.35pm, did the walk and rangers were waiting for us to leave at 4.50pm. We rushed around the trail which ranges from narrow rocky paths to 4wd fire trail, a steeper than expected section but once around the hairpin the trail was lovely. Great view of the falls from the bluff and I’ll be back.

shit hike some markers would be good disgraceful

Pretty track. Easy to walk. Not as exciting as some of the other walks we have done round Albany.

Tide was out so we could not do the last part of the walk which was annoying. Didn't see the cut through track as that part is not well signposted. Despite the rest of the track being well sign posted. Beautiful beaches and views. A good variety of track from flat to rocky to beaches.

Only takes about 30 mins to get to the first vista. Then amazing views for ages as you climb higher and higher. Well worth the effort.

Use the lookout to make it into a loop circuit and it becomes much more interesting and a bit more challenging

Good easy trail, a bit of wildlife and a nice view of a historic site.

A great night out!

Wouldn’t recommend doing this trail in warm weather... it takes longer than you think and the gorges were completely dry (March). There are very limited places to take shelter under shade. Make sure to take plenty of water!

Nice trail! Great to run with some minor technical rocky sections. Very gorgeous!

Great view point on the top

A really good trail, do every trail several times on there own just so you’re use to the area then get creative and make your own, they all join on to each other on there own the longest is about 30 minutes the shortest being 10 minutes but once you know the place you could make them more then a hour long, I hike there every weekend.

Would do again in winter or spring (did at the start of March and was quite humid) but the trail is still really beautiful even without the streams. It’s pretty steep in parts but not too bad.

This is a good hike and well worth it

I got lost a bit on here but still a good hike

Trail run. Not very well signed. Overgrown in a lot of areas, ducking and dodging. I enjoyed it being overgrown but may not suit everybody.

Beautiful walk through the Forrest, great for family’s with young kids

Great trail, enjoyed the views over the dam, uphill section was a bit challenging which was good to increase my fitness!

Did this the other day, but due to the IDIOTS that go up to the top carpark, and throw rocks, at the trains, you now can't cross the East West freight line.
It's stil a great walk, take plenty of water, and stay on the tracks, and you'll be fine.

pleasant, clear signposted and well maintained. will definitely be back with my snorkel when the rains come. (summer’s a little boring!)
was hoping to catch more wildlife but you can’t expect to see such things 100% of the time.

Well loved loop trail around the lake, paved all the way with 2 bird hides, lots of trees & native shrubs, an enormous playground for the kids, multiple picnic areas & benches to sit on. Plenty of parking.
