Trail progressively gets steeper and rockier. Sturdy hiking footwear is a must as it’s easy to lose you footing on the smaller rocks. I’m not the fittest so huffed and puffed for the 2 hours hike up to the peak, with many little breaks along the way. Coming down requires some extra care with footing on the rocks, it took me 1:10hr to make it back to the car park. I carried 2.5 litres of water and returned with one litre left. Beautiful warm conditions 28° and sunny! Hike is mostly under the tree canopy however more exposed to sun towards the top. Spectacular views from the peak. Highly recommend the hike to anyone feeling fit and agile.

I really enjoyed this walk. A little bit of everything like bush walking, trail walking and just general path walking. I like the exercise equipment around for everyone to use with instructions Dog doggy do ruins it for me

I liked this trail, ups and downs along the way, with seats if you need. Still a few wildflowers out in November

this is a great trail for an easy trek. lots of flowers, birds and views. I like that it has both paving and natural sand to walk on :)

Absolutely beautiful place to hike. People who go no further than Nature's Window are seriously missing out. My husband has rated this the best hike we've done in 3 years in Australia and within his top 10 of all time (and we've travelled extensively). We did this on a windy 23 degree late October day (pleasantly breezy in the gorge) and no flies. It took us 2 hours 52 minutes including photo stops. Perfect conditions and we only saw three other people hiking it.

We came up from a different carpark and missed the turn to go clockwise. pay attention and go clockwise or be prepared for the steep climb. recommend long pants as there's a few bull ant colonies establishing themselves along the route.

Beautiful trails and views. The pools are lovely and swimming on a hot day is so refreshing! We did all of the pools in the area and the trails available and it took about 3 hours including swimming and hanging out (Kermit and Handrail pool as well as gorge walks). Definitely worth checking out!!

Hiked 3/4 of the way up as we had not planned on doing it and it was late afternoon when we started. The views were wonderful and would have loved to compete the hike. Lots of flies and no shade makes it a definite early morning hike.

Sept 28, 2019. Amazing hike. We stayed in the Dales campground and it was a nice stroll to the different pools, so easily accessible. We spent much of our day swimming around in the pools and laying in the sun. Wore flip flops, a swim suit with clothes on top and was fine for the hike. I’d recommend hiking down to circular pools first as it is a steeper down hill, then hiking back up at fortescue falls where you are just walking up a steel stair case. The circular pool is lovely to swim and splash about. I did not swim in Fortescue but lots of families were frolicking in it as it was more shallow. Fern pool is a sacred place and visitors are asked to not jump in or be loud (there’s steps to lower you into the water without making a big splash). It was absolutely beautiful and the waterfalls provided a lovely natural shower if you feel like it. I was disappointed with kids jumping off trees and parents cannonballing of the dock. The lack of respect was upsetting. Otherwise the hike was nice, relaxing, and really just gained/ lost elevation as you enter into the gorge.

Lots of opportunity to see a variety of wildlife. The hike was easy and short. We saw a family hiking it with many kids ranging from 3-8 and they all did fine. The trail was easy to follow. Nice views into the gorge.

Beautiful scenery. We were there mid-week in September at 8am and still found it too crowded. Lots of flies as well.

lots of cafes, nice, easy wall

Super easy walk but stunning views of the city and an awesome array of native trees and shrubs.
