pleasant, clear signposted and well maintained. will definitely be back with my snorkel when the rains come. (summer’s a little boring!) was hoping to catch more wildlife but you can’t expect to see such things 100% of the time.

the views are great, however the river is pretty dry and the track is quiet rough due to loose stones on hard surface. This makes going down hill slow and purposeful. the long straight line of the 'track' is more find your own path. Most important tip, remember tick protection. We forgot ours and I alone ended up with 12 ticks, and counting. Walked trail on 22 February 2019.

Went with my family (includes a 3 year old), we loved the track and the heritage behind it. Lovely track, beautiful forestry. We left unsatisfied as it was too short, went and checked out Serpy dam as well for more bush tracks.

Broome is undoubtedly the most cycling unfriendly town I have been to. Masses of broken glass on the roadsides and pavements. Poorly thought out road calming central reservations that force the cars and lorries very close to bikes (who are forced to cycle where all the broken glass is).

Good trail if you want to get off the beaten track! Does not appear to be a well-hiked route. Also good if you’re after a decent, but not difficult, hill climb. Make sure you have a fully charged phone to use the GPS on the app - I got quite lost and there’s no one else around, no signage or obvious paths to follow along some sections. At least it’s open country and easy to navigate. At the top of the hill I couldn’t find the trail to make my way down, even with the GPS, but was able to make my way back by heading in a general downward direction following a zigzagging path. I could see the river / rail line from above and eventually made it to pilgrims trail which leads back to the car park.

Would highly recommend this one to people that want more of a challenging hike with elevation. Distance is very doable and I hiked with people of all ages and fitness levels. Amazing views throughout the whole trail and an incredible place to take photos. So if your down south near Albany, this one one of the best to go to. Happy hiking

Great view, marked well to keep you on track and you can swim/enjoy the picnic area with kangaroos after. Park entry is around $15 and be mindful that when the park reaches capacity it closes so aim to be there before 12pm during peak periods (summer and school holidays).

Nice nature walk lots of birds/water birds fish and reptiles. Was a tough long walk in the baking heat but worth it. (Careful of the tiger snakes)

Very easy trail, good for beginners to learn the absolute basics. But the views are amazing and the journey is peaceful and enjoyable

Great walk with lots of trees. One extremely steep decent. Took me 2 hours.

First hike in years. Very overgrown in sections along the blue route - requires some map checking and bush bashing to keep it interesting. Cool views from the rocky clearings.

Some nice running to be had but lots of steep rocky ups and downs

Rode south on the Wadandi Track section of Rails to Trails from Cowaramup (just behind SES on Miamup Rd) to Carters Rd Trail Head just before Margaret River town. Distance is approx 12kms. Gradient is near flat, easy and surface overall is not too slippery. Trip took about 50 mins with with 6yr old and 7 & a 1/2 on 3 speed bikes and a couple stops but at a fairly casual pace, who lasted the distance without asking “are we there yet”. Trip without kids in about approx 35-40mins depending on your pace.

Interesting track, more of a "choose your own adventure" at the moment but still a good little scenic workout. would love to see it in the wet months when it's green and the rivulets are flowing. If you're not confident without a map, directions and clearly defined paths take someone with you

yanchep end the first 7 km is the most scenic after that dont bother
