my favourite place

love it . done it on skates and bike

Friendly nature walk..

Stunning views and fun rock scrambling. My favourite trail.

Scenery was lovely during the whole walk. Was a great challenge and had different terrain kept it interest. Will definitely do it again :)

Needs to show another 100 meters or so of red wriggly line to get you to the bridge. It’s easy then to do the loop back to the car park by walking the track on the other side of the river so you don’t have to walk back the same way. Views of the river are largely obstructed until you get to the bridge - then it looks amazing.

Great hike- just hard to find your way on some parts!

I often do this walk. very peaceful. Lovely by the Yarra River. Great place to walk your dog too!

Very pleasant trail with lots of visual interest. Moderately challenging.

nice walk in a green urban environment however the road noise level is a bit too high and there is a lot of rubbish everywhere.

Nice challenging hike with great views and rock scrambling. Signage is great in some areas and in others felt like the blind leading the blind. Reminded me how important it is to be able to read a map and know your bearings.

Beautiful hike. Highly recommended!

Took the train from Walhalla then walked to Poverty Point to start this.

Such a beautiful place one you shouldn't miss.

First bit to eastern lookout is a little hilly and boring, but there is some wildlife about. After that the scenery is great.

Very enjoyable day however I should have picked something a little less challenging for my first hike.

95% of the hike is very well marked however the last climb back up to the car park is a little hit and miss if your concentration wanders at the wrong time.

A great overall hike and will definaterly do it again.

Asphalt path, took the 2 year old in a 3 wheeled pram with no problems. Path slopes slightly across the horizontal at times, so pram needs to be held all the time. Nice walk by Barwon River, perfect for warmish days.

Decent and well marked trail, the forest was beautiful and dense. A lot of fallen trees on the track but nothing that's an issue. Not too many scenic views from the top of the elevation but still a nice hike

A nice ride, plenty to look at along the way albeit some of the sites are industrial scuzzy! Enjoy a Williamstown coffee at Carter Smith Devlin!

Definitely a must! So many beautiful stops along the coast! Try to get down to the 12 absolutely for sunset - soo beautiful!

Absolutely loved this hike - so many beaut scenes along the way!

Really lovely walk with proper scrambly bits and rock face to climb across. Even in the rain is lovely, although the downhill sections do turn into little waterways and get quite slippery if it does happen to rain on you.

Great easy-ish track. Couple of steep bits that can be slippery in wet weather but they are not too difficult. Kids could do this track but keep your eye on them so they don’t fall down a mineshaft.

This is a beautiful walk located not far from Lorne on the surf coast. Winter and autumn is the best time to see the falls as they can dry up in summer.
From Phantom Falls you can continue to walk via The canyon to Sheoak picnic area. More detailed maps available from the Lorne Visitors centre.

Goes right by the river, easy, pleasant

Amazing! Not that kid friendly

Great track, took about 2 hours (moderate to fast walking) for the full circuit. Parked at the bottom car park and walked in an anti clockwise direction which meant the hard uphill part was done first

Fantastic trek. Great prep for Kokoda in a couple of months!
