Gorgeous blowy day with winds sweeping in from the south. Not many peeps around from the surf club car park to the pillars then less as I got further around the Cape. I love what they've done at the Island. Less so on this track but but the dune regeneration is fantastic more broadly across the island. Great lookouts on the track. Seats available but no toilets on the trail. Ok for a numero uno but troubles if you need a number two. Thankfully I didn't and didn't need to contend with a poo hiker tag. They seem to be getting more common huh. Great walk. I tagged no shade. I'm reminded that often when I visit the island I either get sunburnt or wind burn.

Excellent walk. Great for kids. Boardwalk along the estuary then a trail to The Briars. Once in the enclosed if you keep your eyes open you may see a kangaroo or a emu Good parking at the start and great coffee on return in the Mt Martha village

Super trail along the river, just stick to the river for 6km. Some obstacles along the way, a path of loggs, rock climbing to get across at one point. Then a steep climb up Cowans track to get the blood pumping, which gives you some nice sweeping views. Good diverse trail.

Not an overly interesting walk, but pleasant enough. The big rock is nice, walk around it first to better appreciate it!

It's a great fairly short and sharp climb up to a pretty nice view. Quite windy, so tie down your hats! Can get super busy, and did owners tend to keep a loose leash so watch your step!

Very nice trail. The first part is in the forest, then Most of the loop is a truck trail. We did it in 6 hours including lunch break. I recommend doing it anticlockwise, you would get down on a narrow forest track, then get up on the truck trail. The drive is also stunning. Don’t expect too many views though as the abondant number of trees cover the landscape mostly all the way.

Great trail, a few difficult moments. Nice views. Download the map as some indications can be confusing

Unfortunately I could not find the track to complete the loop after the peak. If anyone finds it please comment in review.

Beautiful June walk . Tea tree in flower . Grass trees , flowering gums . rainbows!Abundant bird life . Great coastal views , well marked track . U need to time the beach section with low tide . Very enjoyable 2-3 hr hike . BYO food and water

Really enjoyed the hike. Muddy in sections. overgrown a little too in a bit of it, blackberry along with it, which wasn't ideal for our 4yo son.

really great track for a nice walk with the dog, excellent scenery and lots of greenery

Lots of stairs! Good hike

The FEELING: guess it will turn to be an essay if I describe it, the rays of sun playing hide and seek behind the curtain of clouds created a perfect bluish as it reflcted against the sea, the waves of tides climbing up the rocks produced the most melodious music and the songs that birds sing all along the track..... it just keeps on and on.

easy walk with good views at the top of the big rock.

I love this trail!!!!!!!!!!especially some rocky tracks make me feel so adventurous....lol

Great loop. Closer to 20km. A little muddy and slippery in spots. Fantastic little track from Olinda Falls following the creek uphill. Hardly saw a soul except when close to Mt Dandy and Burke’s lookout

Great easy track. Takes around 2 hours. Good for dogs and kids. This map takes the trail through the gardens for some reason, as you cannot take dogs into the garden. Just follow falls road back to the starting point.

Short trail about an hours walk in a small circuit. One steep heel on rocky terrain. Would be fun for 4WD drive.

I am quite an unfit beginner so this took me around 5 hours to complete. So be prepared for a longer time than the 3-3.5 hr time given in the app. There are some very steep climbs, and a small section where you have to go over a bit of water (just a few feet, like 2cm deep). We started clockwise and happy about that - there is a part of the trail where you have to cross the main road which was a bit confusing. Signage could be better. The waterfall is absolutely beautiful! And lit up in the night as well. The toilets are closed (which was v annoying!) during these days - 30 May 2020.
