Great workout.

Nice challenging hike with great views and rock scrambling. Signage is great in some areas and in others felt like the blind leading the blind. Reminded me how important it is to be able to read a map and know your bearings.

A nice easy hike specially in late September, early October when the wildflowers and canola fields are in bloom.

Nice short track with elevation but way too many people.

One of the few tracks easily accessible on public transport.

Beautiful beach track for Summer. Hike from Sorrento and enjoy the rock pools.

I found the hike easy. Level 1/2 that said a friend new to hiking struggled. May have been a combination of his footing and weight (100kg) but his ankles swelled up like balloons and we had to wait for an uber to arrive from MLB city to pick us up and drive us back to Sorrento. Despite this hiccup we both had fun.

If you have two cars. I'd recommend doing 14ks in one direction and leaving a car on the other end rather than backtracking back to Sorrento.

Awesome area. Definitely test yourself when you hit the snow. I recommend starting from Mount St Gwinear and up to baw baw. You can do a solid 20 kms while going off track and off the main trail.

Great track would do it again you view the falls from viewing platforms they were running really well when we went but had been a big of rain.

great walking track, went a little further then the said distance, 14km total. it was quite muddy due to rain the previous day but still a good track.

Saw kangaroos

Beautiful trek. Was quite muddy in parts but had some nice scenery too, following Sassafras creek all the way. Narrow track for most of the way so single file necessary if you are going with a group. Well signed and easy to follow. We kept going and went from Sassafras to Monbulk. Would definitely do it again.

Took the train from Walhalla then walked to Poverty Point to start this.

Such a beautiful place one you shouldn't miss.

Lots of variety packed into 11km, a long walk on the beach, rock scrambles, lots of climbs up and down rolling sandhills with scrubby gums, wattle, grass trees and in spring lots of tiny paper daisies. Many opportunities to glimpse the ocean once you turn inland. Well marked. Bonus for indigenous waymakers and interpretation.

Nice and Peaceful

Great hike but rather challenging in parts. Feels very rewarding to finish. Was longer than 12km though, more like 15km. Will definitely be back!

So pretty and heaps to see. A good challenge for someone of average fitness. There are heaps of intersecting trails so it’s easy to get off track but that also gives loads of options, keep an eye on your GPS! Some of the trails were quite narrow and muddy and others wide and easy to navigate. Some sign posts have gone missing along the way. Overall amazing! Beautiful spot.

An easy walk between two well fed waterfalls. The path was a bit muddy (had a laugh at some passers through in all white joggers) but very manageable with lots of greens and tall gums to enjoy.

With 4 kids in toe we walked it in 2 hours with lots of stops for photos and fun.

We will go back again for sure.

Great view from the top. Ran from Lakeside Caravan Park so skipped first part of the marked course. A nice challenge given the technical nature of the path but well worth the effort. Would be great for a hike as well.

Very enjoyable day however I should have picked something a little less challenging for my first hike.

95% of the hike is very well marked however the last climb back up to the car park is a little hit and miss if your concentration wanders at the wrong time.

A great overall hike and will definaterly do it again.

Excellent, lots of different scenery. A great afternoon. :) Was about 15km and took us 3hrs at an easy pace with a couple of stops.

Great walk along the bay, take your time and grab a coffee along the way!

A great one for the kids. At no point do you really need to worry about their safety. A scenic view at the top, highly recommended.

on Hollow Mountain

Got a little precarious towards the top, was a little anxious with young kids in tow. Otherwise a very enjoyable hike. Decent views at the top, and Hollow Mountain itself is very interesting!

Asphalt path, took the 2 year old in a 3 wheeled pram with no problems. Path slopes slightly across the horizontal at times, so pram needs to be held all the time. Nice walk by Barwon River, perfect for warmish days.

on Boronia Peak

Unreal! Climbed this one a couple times. The first time was in terrible weather - rain, gusty winds, the works. Second time around was the polar opposite, not a breath of wind even at the summit. Some scrambling at the very peak but otherwise an enjoyable and easy walk.

Definietly not moderate - much harder than the 1000 steps but I’d do it again - it was cloudy so no views :(

Short but pleasant. Go after it rains

love this place.

Decent and well marked trail, the forest was beautiful and dense. A lot of fallen trees on the track but nothing that's an issue. Not too many scenic views from the top of the elevation but still a nice hike

An easy trail with nice views. Good for dogs and bikes and prams
