Great track with lush green forrest , man made timber bridge crossings waterfalls along a picturesque river. Timing is everything, 5km in & we were forced to turn back after 4 river crossings.
Well sign posted, however none to warn of river crossings.
Would have been a much more fulfilling 5star hike had we been able to complete it!

A lovely rainforest walk next to a running brook on a beautiful Victorian spring day. Walked this with a non-hiker. There are two very steep sections. The non-hiker didn’t go the final 100m down to the falls as the ascent back up was so steep, so they missed the best bit of the walk. Very enjoyable none-the-less.

Beautiful walk in The Otways, near Lorne not Geelong.

This is a beautiful walk located not far from Lorne on the surf coast. Winter and autumn is the best time to see the falls as they can dry up in summer.
From Phantom Falls you can continue to walk via The canyon to Sheoak picnic area. More detailed maps available from the Lorne Visitors centre.

Stunning waterfall well worth the trip. Upper Kalimantan closed as of 20-Jul-18. Lower falls an easy 2 hour return trip
