great easy hike. make sure you go anticlockwise, so if you happen to get tired you'll have the riverbank to rest by.

I loved this walk. Especially the Lyre birds! They are amazing. For those that don’t do a lot of exercise I would imagine some of the hills rather challenging. I did use a weighted pack on this walk and enjoyed it and found it still easy. I will be doing it again.

Not heaps of shade, but regular water. We did two laps with our dogs (so about 10km) pretty busy with a park run on but all in all a good morning walk

Tracks are not well marked and vary from wide well formed tracks to very (very!) narrow and overgrown trails. Need moderate fitness and stable footwear/knees for all the downhill

Check where you are regularly as tracks are not marked well . Some steep sections and watch out for mountain bikes on the smaller trails. Need moderate fitness. We managed to see two lyrebirds, black wallaby and plenty of birds. Good footwear required.

It was a good walk. The tracks are well defined and it is kid friendly.

Great walk. Bring plenty of water

quite a boring trail. good for a walk with kids i guess. and possibly good on a bike.. whole track is tarmac path.

This trail starts at the 'Turntable' carpark which is a short drive beyond the entry to the park - see map link below. A very popular and well marked trail that provides gorgeous views at various points on the way up. A 360 degree view is found at the top, seeing all the way to Geelong, Melbourne and the Peninsulas. There are picnic areas at the start of the trail and also others in the surrounding areas.

Great walk through forest with lots of bird life. Crisscrosses forest tracks and roads. Needs moderate fitness and a map or app

Steep incline and decline in the valley at the southern end of the track, full of ancient Australian flora and beautiful fauna throughout. Close to suburbs so houses can be seen and cars heard on some parts of the track, there are tourists a plenty on some parts of the track and parking is scarce. All round a good hike worth doing!

Great walk. Beautiful scenery. Can be dense and wet in spots. Keep an eye out for leaches.

Classic great ocean road views but simply beautiful. But painfully touristy, sunrise would be best to avoid the crowds.

Lovely waterfall with lots of water following from it even in summer. As walking down to the falls it is abit of a heat trap. Also very busy so I would head here early to miss the crowds

A Great quick walk.

This is part of the Capital City trail and can be extended for as long as you'd like to go, before actually completing the whole Cap City trail. Or, you can continue for approximately 6 more km to the Yarra bend park, and then route around the park before returning on the other side of the Yarra river;

Trail is flat and mostly paved. Lots of bike riders, some runners and walkers (like me). Most of the trail is buffered by the river on one side and a narrow strip of bush and woods on the other side. Otherwise, its in an urban setting.
