Not moderate, hard, I've had people tell me this is harder than the 1000 steps, we will say this track starts from the bottom of glasgow road, everyone parks at the bottom for it, the hike isnt easy, as it is nothing but uphill, it starts off night and easy, then it becomes a real grind until the final few minutes of the walk. once you're at the 'top' turn right for the lookout, the view is stunning.

Love the 1000 steps. Always a great cardio workout

Challenging but rewarding hike. Inexperienced or unfit hikers may find it challenging as you are up and down hills the entire way, with steep inclines at the start and end pushing the legs. Having said that, very happy we did it and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a challenge

very good, easy going

Great easy-ish track. Couple of steep bits that can be slippery in wet weather but they are not too difficult. Kids could do this track but keep your eye on them so they don’t fall down a mineshaft.

Really good trail for novice walkers. clear tracks well done to the Friends of Black hill reserve.

Beautiful walk in The Otways, near Lorne not Geelong.

This is a beautiful walk located not far from Lorne on the surf coast. Winter and autumn is the best time to see the falls as they can dry up in summer.
From Phantom Falls you can continue to walk via The canyon to Sheoak picnic area. More detailed maps available from the Lorne Visitors centre.

Beautiful, easy trail. Look out for kangaroos resting in paddocks by the trail

This trail surprised me. Really didn't expect a whole lot but beautiful scenery and perfect length. Waterfall was flowing well too. Definitely recommend heading right from water gauge camp. Enjoy!

It’s Dargon Track not Dragon Track, the name Dargon comes from a family that lived on the land in a stone cottage down near the Birdsland Lake, the ruins are still visible.

My 15 year old son & I tackled this recently from the track at the back of Halls Gap Caravan Park which I believe is the longest route. There are shorter options where you can walk from a carpark and each walk is different. We had perfect weather and really enjoyed this walk although there are plenty of stairs so some level of fitness is required. We spotted an echidna in the return trip too! Definitely recommend taking a snack & drinks to enjoy at the Pinnacle. Agree that more markers are needed close to the top as it can be tricky to work out which way to go.

Absolutely beautiful views from the cliff tops. We stopped for lunch at the Kilcunda pub, then set back on our return trip. This is definitely my favourite walk.

Worth a look if you're in the area .. easy walk down however walk back up to the car park requires some effort. Easily accessed and the Falls look great.

Love it. Good cardio.

Goes right by the river, easy, pleasant

Great hike, go all the way to Baw Baw and relax with a few beers

One of the best scenic trails in Victoria & the view from the summit is just breathtaking!

Stunning waterfall well worth the trip. Upper Kalimantan closed as of 20-Jul-18. Lower falls an easy 2 hour return trip

A beautiful walk along the cliffs with magnificent views of the coastal line. Took us 4hrs return from Kilcunda with having lunch (BYO) at punchbowl road before heading back.

great hike with fantastic views. trail wasn't marked as MacDonald hill so I was little confused.

weapon of a trail

Not a bad track pretty easy to walk just a very slight incline almost flat nice long basic walk path has a good surface of rock down, so it's only muddy in a couple of detours off the main track due to bridges being out of order.
Don't forget to check out the old Trentham railway station while you are there since it's right behind you at the starting point.

A pleasant walk.

Walked at low tide, really enjoyable views and great beach walk, best with offshore winds

Amazing! Not that kid friendly

I love this climb up the side of Mt Dandenong. Definitely a hard climb though and a suggestion to go down Zig Zag track for an easier and safer descent
