Super good fun - very overgrown and a few tight spots along some rock scrambling for bigger dogs but super doable. Wear decent boots. Lots of spots for dogs to drink and swim along the way.

The river is running right now so make sure you have waterproof high top boots and/or gators. Definitely need reasonable level of fitness. 3 - 4 hours.

Beautiful trail, has a bit of everything. We walked counter-clockwise, starting with the river section. Plenty of nice spots along the river to stop and enjoy the scenery. If it's warm, bring your swimmers! This trail took us longer than expected though, due to the winding of the path along the river, and the uphill sections at the end were a killer. Make sure you give yourself around 6 hours of walking time for this, plus any extra time for relaxing.

This trail is very very very pretty but also super sketchy in parts, I’m an avid climber and this even had me nervous at times. If you’re a solo hiker like me I’d either give it a miss or make sure you have a proper GPS with you, there is very patchy mobile service. Also I don’t think any one has mentioned before there are a couple of spots where you have to either traverse a wall to get past the river, or go over some rocks to get to the other side, so probably not great if it’s been raining a lot.

Great loop track with some good climbs and a couple of river crossings, glad I had the Crocs, good views out over the gorge from kenworthy track and of the river along the east track, nice way to spend 3-4 hrs.

Great track. The kids enjoyed themselves, a few spots were hard to navigate with youngest two (5 & 6).

On its own it’s not very challenging, just one sketchy climb (anticlockwise ) or decent (clockwise). I extended this loop by adding the East Walk & Kangaroo loop. Big smiles all round. Not a bad way to spend 4-5 hours. Yes there’s a river crossing and can be easy to lose the track but, if you stay on track there’s no bush bashing.

We went counter clockwise. A great day hike complete with some rock hopping, scrambling, a gorgeous section hiking alongside the river then some hills to finish.

Lost the markers, found our own way. Very overgrown along the river. Hard-going at times. Beautiful vistas from the crest
