Walking

The trail is nice and flat, and the lake is beautiful with a great view of the city. Lots of birds! It’s a bit of a shame that there are works everywhere in the park (or at least a lot of barriers) and that the lake is so polluted though. Plastic everywhere :/

Hiking

A moderate trail, good for casual hiking. The app occasionally crashed so that the recorded track of mine is intermittent.

A lovely walk in amongst the bush to La La Falls. Nice gradient climb on the way in.

It was amazing! The most challenging and yet best hike I did so far. It's very hard, took us 9 hours and we even skipped the two Yawbone Peaks in the middle. The Sugarloaf peak is very challenging, it's off-road and includes a lot of rock climbing. But so much fun and amazing views! Hiking boots and general fitness are definitely recommend!

The trail is amazing, had an older hiker with me who found the last/first hill (depending on which way you go) quite difficult with little cover from the sun

It was a decent hike up to the peak. Recommended for anyone and got a great view at the top awaiting you as a reward.

It wasn’t 22.2 unless you do the loop twice but still was a good run

Nice little hike with interesting and nice looking geology. Nothing special needed. Runners do the job. Nice Picknick places / tables all over the area. Can imagine gets quite hot there on a warm day.

Full on 5 - 6 hour hike, steep ascents/descents. Take at least 2 litres of water per person + food. Great views, worth the slog!

Enjoyable walk. The only strenuous part is the backstairs path from the highway up to the old Warburton road. The incline to reach La La falls is very gentle in comparison. Encountered lowland copperhead snake sunning itself on the trail near the falls car park.

Hiking

Watch out for March flies. Good walk, expect sandy trails.

Good trail as an overnight adventure. Lots of mossy forest recalling lord of the rings scenes. All the river crossings make for an exciting walk. Would recommend to others!

Nice easy walk, however I like my walks to be more isolated. You walk along the beach the whole way but you are also beside a road and houses too. Lovely walk if you aren’t too worried about the houses :)

Nice little loop to gauge your fitness on. If you can run the loop in under 20:mins you are flying.

The 10.5k loop is a great run. A 3k climb up from the creek is tough running, called the Widowmaker for a reason.

Nice hike up to the falls. Mostly old fire access tracks, so navigation pretty easy going. Up and down both quite steep. Waterfalls would be amazing after a bit of rain!

Beautiful walk. Do the walk anti-clockwise, makes an easier walk as the steep incline is at the beginning and end on the beautiful path along the river.
