Beautiful! At the boulder unfortunately we couldn’t climb as was steeper than we thought and weather wasn’t the best for the hike however the rainforest and farm land was beautiful. Will definitely try again when weather is better!

Great trail. A bit of hard work, but well worth the view once you make it up!

One of my favourite walks so beautiful when it is snowing really like a winter wonderland

Beautiful view

The first day is hard you are constantly hiking up hill with a pack and doesn’t seem to end would not do it again would rather the overland track any day

Was a great hike - some of the trail is a little overgrown in places, mostly around Lake Ball, but all up was a great couple days

This walk is much harder than it sounds on paper. It is very rocky for almost the whole walk and some steep rocky climbs. It is also poorly marked and very often you need to retrace your steps to find the correct way. Having said that you do get spectacular views of the surrounding escarpments and the falls themselves are very impressive.

Very hard

Great walk, was my first hike in Tasmania. The gate is locked now so can't park near the farm house as mentioned in the 100 walks in Tasmania book. There is alittle parking spot right near the gate that 1 car can use and still be out of the way else there is parking on the main road north of the turn off.

There was a team doing track work towards the end. They are creating rock steps just before the saddle towards the summit.
