Very slippery sloped rocks leading down to the main falls. High risk of slipping into river when wet.

RunningGreat!

One of my favourites! But there is no connection between Point Vision to Coopers Cove! The parks staff was frustrated that people kept trying to walk this because people keep getting lost and need rescuing, as well as introducing foreign weeds and chemical plant killers on their shoes. So I did the Bakers Beach to Badger Beach track, really beautiful run, easy path, but it is pushing 30km return.

Great walk but specific signage to the falls is not great.

We had great winter conditions, was only slightly muddy and icy at the top. We did the trip well under the 5hr parks estimate but we’re pretty confident on the rocks and the good weather helped too

Dog friendly portion accessible from Enterprise road entrance and above elevations. Nice easy trail to Signal station and fire trials can add additional length if a longer hike is wanted. Will return with my toddler as the trail is perfect for her to practice hiking on.

I've done quite a few treks here in Tasmania and I've loved almost all of them thanks to proper research before each adventure. the journey: knowing what to expect plays a vital role in the outcome of this journey, so prepare for a walk through a thick rainforest a rocky, challenging mid and a thigh burning finish up a moderately steep boulder drop. all in all its going to give the casual hiker a bit of a hard time but it's not impossible to accomplish and the end result is worth every calorie burnt. navigation: before setting out I had a read about the markers and how it's easy to lose track of them, this is accurate it's pretty easy to lose track of a marker and veer off into other paths that look like previously hiked tracks.but this is no reason not to do this walk, like any other trek if you pay enough attention to you're surroundings you'll be fine. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS APP FOR NAVIGATION AND ETA. time to complete: took us about 4 hours all up.....we took our time :D parking: location provided by this app was highly accurate for parking and locating start point.

The walk to the falls was lovely. Continued on to Junction Cabin just over two hours return and about 8kms in total. The falls, while not huge, were beautiful.

Magnificent views and worth the effort. Extremely muddy in places but despite the scrambling track to the top basically being a small creek it is surprisingly not slippery. We didnt go around to lake herbert as the track at the fork looked quite dangerous and had washed away in places, however a bit further up track to the summit beyond the fork there is a section to the left off track where there is an easy shortcut to the lake herbert track where its formed and in good condition that we spotted on the way back down. No shade once you pass the tree line so you will need sunscreen and a hat
