Not heaps of shade, but regular water. We did two laps with our dogs (so about 10km) pretty busy with a park run on but all in all a good morning walk

quite a boring trail. good for a walk with kids i guess. and possibly good on a bike.. whole track is tarmac path.

good city walk when you want country. easy stroll. easy paths. lots of birds

Located between the city and St Kilda. An easy, flat, gravel path to stretch the legs.

A lovely walk. Very peaceful walking by the lake as well as through beautiful bushland.

Do it daily with our dogs. Really nice breeze and a beautiful view

Great urban forest loop where you can escape the sense of city for a while and be surrounded by trees and even kangaroos!

Much better than expected. Saw some big kangaroos, one with a Joey in its pouch. Easy and enjoyable :)

Beautiful view of the gorge and the river

Hands down my favourite urban walking trail.

Great walk along Newcastle’s most iconic beaches. All footpaths and always close to toilets, water or cafes. Great in sections with kids and family.

You are not allowed to ride bikes or take your dog in this park as it is a nature reserve.
Otherwise this is a beautiful native parkland for walking / jogging only.

Nice views, especially when the tide is in. Can be hot - best in early morning or evening. Regular filtered water stations. Numerous activities along the walk.

Living in Townsville Qld Australia, it is easy to forget that as a local resident there is plenty to do. This trail walk is easy and does offer some great views, some excellent fishing spots, and for the most part accessible to all. Whether you are a walker, jogger or simply out for a leisure stroll there is plenty to do for kids and adults alike. The Jezzine Park path offers the fitness person plenty of stairs and steeper paths for either jogging or running with great views at the top of Cleveland Bay and Magnetic Island and the Strand and its Rockpool. The strand walk is fantastic and there is plenty to do (Walk, jog, cycle, swim etc). There are plenty of park benches and some fitness equipment as well as kid friendly parks and attractions.
