Magic sunrise spot, great easy walk, pretty lake with lots of birdlife. All cement path good for bikes, walking, running and wheelchair friendly. Great playground for kids.

Did this walk in November 2019 and half of the park was being renovated. It was pleasant but until the Reno is finished I would recommend waiting.

A very nice, well-trodden trail with plenty of explanatory plaques early on that transitions to a eucalyptus forest walk along a river. Koalas are sleeping/eating high in eucalyptus trees. Many ducks and other waterfowl float in the river and live on the banks. Loads of other birds (blue wrens, cockatoos, blackbirds) follow you the whole way. A great walk for young kids!

Lovely walk from the picnic cove to Neil Hawkins park and back.

First few km nice, than boring. Good for biking with dog or roller skates - asphalt bike tracks all the way. No off leash. Watch for snakes in summer.

Did this one yesterday with my dog. Was an easy walk and there wasn’t too many people around.

Pleasant flat, well maintained waterside walk or run for any level. About 50% shade. Terminates at lagoon (large public pool- again very clean). There is also a separate bike path. Beach is not walkable nor scenic at low tide (mudflats).

Easy wheelchair accessible walk in fig tree forest. Sealed road and plank walk all the way. 1 km long took about 10min

very flat. very pretty.

New Years day 2020. Morning walk with a low tide. Wonderful environment with a great variety of plants and animals. Access on the walk is great. The jetty and the Maroochy River gives that feeling of total relaxtion. Seating along the boardwalk is great.

We left for a morning walk on New Years day 2020. It was just wonderful. A diverse range of plant and animal life to see close up from the boardwalk. It was low tide which stared to turn while we were there. The jetty and the Maroochy River gave that sense of away out there, but we were quite close to the other built up environment.

Nice easy walk. Wasn't as much of a lake view as I first anticipated, but pleasant nonetheless. Heaps of birds and other wildlife. Decent amount of shade too. We parked by the facilities (toilets, bbq's, water fountains, doggy doo bags) but didn't see much else on the way round so grab your water, bags and toilet stop etc before you set off. A decent distance to get your fitbit steps up, or you could cycle round a few times. Felt safe and wouldn't be phased doing this walk alone.

average scenaries, a bit of traffic noise, great for kids and dogs. A lot of hopping bunnies

A lovely circuit. If running do so outside peak times (fine weather weekends) or prepare yourself to get a bit annoyed by three abreast walkers. I like to cut up through Callan Park which is treed and has some spectacular Victorian buildings. The Callan Park diversion makes the circuit pretty special.

excellent walk with a good mix of city and bird life. was lucky enough to spot 2 dolphins cruising up river

Amazing trail. Great length and great for beginners, with absolutely gorgeous views.

Nice, easy walk on a mild Spring day. Lots of polite cyclists. Relatively rubbish free for an urban walk and saw a couple of bobtails. Wanneroo Road side not as pretty and the path was closed off near the pine plantation due to some sort of works, possibly linked to the new flyover being built. So ended up having to walk along Wanneroo Road to Leap Frogs. I recommend stopping for a cup of tea, if not in a hurry, then continuing on. Great urban track and well kept.

this is a pleasant walk along the Shoreline

This is a great trail with well maintained tracks and signage! This track can be completed by almost anyone with some steep inclines that my prove difficult for some but the views at the end of the hike are definitely worth the walk.
