Great trail for running, the way up is pretty hard and the way down is a bit technical and rocky which makes for a pretty exhilarating descent.

Did this walk after some winter rain, when the river was up. The gorge is looking great, and its a fine walk. As the water was up, parts of the river were over trail sections, meaning it was slow going and there was a requirement to scramble across steep rock faces along areas of the gorge if you were not to get pretty wet. Not for faint hearted, the more elderly or those without reasonable fitness when it is wet - and you should leave enough time (say 2.5hr) for those slower climb across patches if there are wet conditions with the raised river.

A very easy trail with a few short steep climbs. Lots of kangaroos early mornings.

Excellent trail and beautiful views. Great waterfalls. Some challenging slopes and a good workout

Highly recommend to go uphill rather then to come down this track. Has some very steep sections and can be sleepery when wet

A very pleasant and easy track to follow. Mostly flat running along the River Torrens.

My second home. I often hike this track. Great track with some steep inclines and beautiful views of the city from the top. Abundance of wildlife, many birds and many many kangaroos with a few koalas. I often say that it should be renamed Koala hill.

Quite long steep inclines and declines, took us longer than normal, had all weather including hail. Great terrain, sadly signs of cudlee creek fires remain. Loved the walk

Nice little hike, would be best after a massive rain fall so the waterfalls are worth seeing

Make sure you pack plenty of food and leave early unless you want to be hiking in the dark. Reccomend conditioning beforehand so you arent gassed 30 k in. Hardest incline is at black hill. Good views, plenty of animals.

Great trail, but definitely not what I would class as easy. Wide trails, with lots of rocks, slippery after rains and steep climbs to start with. Class as a moderate hike at least. Sensational views, and also quite busy, great after rains with waterfalls and creeks running

I've spe done this trail several times now and really enjoy it. Early morning to avoid the traffic noise from the first section near the road is best.

Varied and interesting walk. Do all 3 waterfalls. The third fall is farther but it’s an easy walk. Not many places to stop and lunch unless u take something to keep your butt dry. Enjoyed this walk

Decided to take the trail down to the punchbowl. The punchbowl was amazing but I would not recommend going down when it’s rained recently. Steep Rocky & Muddy

Loved the diversity of this trail! Lots of wildlife about and gorgeous SA on display! We carried 20kg in our packs for an added challenge and loved every bit of it. It would still be quite challenging without weighted packs due to the distance and mix of loose track and pretty decent elevation. Our gps clocked 17.9km and AllTrails recording was around 16km but magic day to be out! Would like to try it in reverse next time!

My recorded hike was a mixture of trails and loops within Belair National Park. It’s a beautiful stretch of nature with varying terrains, trails and facilities suitable for all ages. The waterfall was dry but it was great nonetheless to reach it and see the rocky cliffs after trekking through flatter terrain and spotting many kangaroos. There are many sections and tracks to explore at Belair and there are playground, sporting and picnic facilities.

As this is so close to my home, I am loving it and the variety of slopes. Some very steep ascends that gets your heart pumping for the first couple km but the rewards are priceless once you reach the top with the city views and many kangaroos about. Very few koalas spotted from time to time

Loved this easy walk with some moderate descends and inclines. Very eerie walking through the burned Cuddlee Creek forestry with very little sight of wildlife. Hopefully the regrowth won't take long and the forestry recovers fast from the recent bush fires.

Beautiful easy walk through the forestry. Great views of the greater Adelaide at the start and beautiful views of the valley.

Unfortunately no water flowing on the waterfall. Please keep dogs on leash. Our Pup (who was) was attacked by another which was upsetting.
