Walked North-South and stopped halfway at the botanic gardens and backtracked back to my car which was 14k and took approx 3 1/2 hours. Great place to stop for lunch! Nice fairly secluded trail, not overly difficult but some moderate hills and fairly shaded. Some sections near the summit have been controlled burned so are lacking in a little shade and greenery at the moment.

Was good.. however there were couple of closed gates but then there were opening around 100 m away from them Good to do at least once

Great little afternoon (or morning) trail. Some moderately challenging sections but mainly just a good walk.

Cool little lakeside loop track that provides easy access to other spur trails and loops. An abundance of waterfowl and small native rats make this trail interesting and great for all ages. There is a bird hide on the south-eastern side of the lake that is worth planning to spend some time in with a good camera if you have ornithological leanings!

We highly recommend this trail, at the beginning it seems like a random walk in the nature, but as we reached the creek it was really amazing. You should also try the swing. Overall a nice hike, which isn't too crowded on nice days.

Lake itself is beautiful but the loop is along side the busy road around it

Great trail in spring for an abundance of orchids and wildlife.

This trail starts at Bridgewater and follows the Heysen Trail (Section 12) along the Bridgewater water course before following the South Eastern Freeway underpass. The trail continues through Mount Lofty Golf course and through the Mount Lofty Botanical Gardens. The trail the traverses along the western ridge of the Mount Lofty Rangers past Mount Lofty Summit before ending at Sprigg Road, Cleland Conservation Park where there is off road car parking for two to three cars. The trail passes rivers, Stately homes and gardens and native bushland.

An easy walk for the whole family. Has a beautiful lake and areas to set up a picnic. The ground does include slopes but are short and manageable.

Definitely recommend the Devils Nose trail to anyone, either on its own or incorporated to the South Para Grand Hike (8.5km). Beautiful scenery and low traffic. Went on a public holiday and only came across a handful of other hikers. Great trail

favourite place to go stand up paddle boardinging!

My partner and myself did the Devil's Nose Track with our 10 month on our back. The trip took us an hour and a half with a quick lunch stop. The views were amazing. I would like to note that the devil's nose track is not a loop, the Grand Hike is a loop.

The “lake” is a disused quarry which is private property and you run the risk of being trespassed. Security monitors the perimeter occasionally, moreso in summer.

this is a great walk, hilly & steep; steep if you choose. great mines to check out along the way. well worth exploring.

its a really nice view from the top, apparently there is a book at the top that you're supposed to sign when you climb it, but I didn't see it.
