Length: 2.6 mi • Est. 1 h 42 m
This trail reaches the summit of Black Hill with beautiful views across the Adelaide Hills and the surrounding metropolitan area. The loop can be taken from either direction, however the anti-clockwise direction features the steep section first and is more of a workout, but avoids going down this rocky section on the way down which can be slightly precarious and slippery.Show more

Length: 2.4 mi • Est. 1 h 15 m
This loop is nestled on the eastern border of the Anstey Hill Recreation Park. The terrain is mostly easy open trails with a gentle gradient, with some sections that are slightly more technical and rocky. Along the way you will encounter the Newmans Nursery historical ruins site, catch some great views, and will pass many koalas lounging in the trees above. You can commence this trail from several different access gates, not just at the marked trailhead. Show more

Length: 6.1 mi • Est. 3 h 29 m
For a quieter circuit, this route follows the outer perimeter of the park and bypasses some of the more popular natural features in the parks centre - whilst still packing in the views. The terrain is mixed and includes a short roadside section on the return after visiting Third Falls. Be able to navigate with a GPS if needed as some sections have less signage than the rest of the park.Show more

It isn't uncommon to spot a few koalas and kangaroos along this quick and easy trail, which can get quite busy as a popular and direct route to visiting some of the parks best natural features. This is a great choice for all levels as the elevation changes are gentle.Show more

This is a short loop with several areas to stop with gazebos along the way. The trail is wheelchair and stroller friendly as the terrain is hard packed gravel that is mostly level. Start near the main carpark, which was the site of the former quarry where this trail gets its name.Show more

This trail reaches the summit of Black Hill, and extends with an additional loop to cross with a section of the Yurrebilla Trail. The loop can be taken from either direction, however the anti-clockwise direction features the steep section first and is more of a workout, but avoids going down this rocky section on the way down which can be slightly precarious and slippery.Show more
