Great easy 4km out and back for us, wide paths. Horse trail/bikes and walkers sharing path. Dog friendly. School holidays quite a few children on bikes.

I loved this trail. Cold and damp day but so much beauty along the way. Wasn’t busy at all so it was an easy and lovely escape

Best track I've rollerskated on. Nice flat path surrounded by bush and nature.

Walking

Nice walk, especially around the dam areas. A couple of lovely views. Lots of loose rock in parts but overall pretty flat and good for a nice easy stroll.

Amazing views and very easy paths/roads. Some rocky and off road trails add some variety. Would walk again!

This was a very easy, straight, flat walk. Great for beginners and those with kids.

Did this trail anti clockwise. So it got easier after the first third.Recommended for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness.

Great trail, I have completed this one multiple times but never in completion due to poor signage and getting lost. They have since resigned the whole trail and it is so easy to follow now. Such a pretty area to explore with a few challenging inclines to keep the terrain interesting.

This is a lovely, easy flat trail. Note a small detour because the bridge is closed - you can see it on the recording here. Muddy and slippery in parts. Saw some Kangaroos up close. Very easy track. Enjoy!

One of my favourite peninsula walks- especially love it because it is dog friendly. Can be muddy if it’s it’s rained a bit.

Started this walk today, and to put it in perspective it was the first Saturday after covid restrictions lifted, and a beautiful Saturday, so ideal conditions. Firstly, It was difficult to park at Red Hill without taking up retailers’ spaces. Also a bit scruffy around the start at the back of the shops and cafes. And when we got on the trail it was just too busy with the current social distancing. Not for us on this occasion, but maybe okay if you are a family or walking a dog.

Great trail, recommend doing it as per all trail starting point. Some great views of the rolling hills the surround. The slight incline back out is a challenge and there’s some good coffee options at the start. Easy parking. Trail a bit muddy in spots but by nature the soil was quite loamy. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Splits into 3 distinct sections. Going anti-clockwise from the car park takes you along a good path through woods, heading slightly downhill. Really nice and peaceful. Second part turns south east on the dam access road, which rises gently along the valley to the old and new dams. Some lovely viewpoints when you get there. The last section starts off through some beautiful trees but this ends too soon to leave you returning to the start on a tarmac road for the last kilometre or so.

Nice well maintained trail, can access from Parkerville, Stoneville, Mt Helena, Swan view, National Park, Mundaring etc Dogs are allowed but NOT in the National Park. Mostly flat, down hill and some slight hills on the way back up.

Well signed gravel track that a hybrid bike could manage. Needn't be a full MTB. Long up and a long down. Changing views with some cool spots along the way; quary, waterfalls, disused stations, tunnels etc.
