second time climbing...love the view from the top and the challenge.

A great one to avoid crowds. Not a great track up, well the one we found anyway. Starts from a 4wd access track up the road from Tibrogargan car park and opposite a property with a big shed. We went up 1 track and down a different one. This was fun as it’s not well known, great views of Mt Tibrogargan.

Best when everyone is at work as it can get busy. A nice entry into the Glasshouse Mountains, easy hike but lovely views.

Nice, easy and flat with plenty of shade. Only downside is the sound of motorbikes on a weekend.

Great hike through subtropical rainforest. Beautiful views within and amazing views from Bare Rock and other lookouts.

I don’t drive so is r
There any public transport that can get you close enough to walk to this also Eaton’s hill cedar creek any transport close enough thanks

Track walked in reverse to recommended route. Long climb from the valley floor up to Binna Burra. Not for the faint hearted. Signage was inadequate from this direction but we fumbled through ok. Took a detour along the Coomera Circuit heading from Binna Burra to Lamington. The waterfalls were worth it! Fantastic walk over 3 days. Looking forward to doing it again in reverse.

favourite mountain walk of all I have ever done, because the view is amazing! didn't find it hard

Lovely hike, easy as! Beautiful view at the top, and it's good for all ages to be able to accomplish.

Side note there are lots of loose rocks so do wear good foot wear.

An easy walk. it was tagged but they have been removed last time I went in Nov 18. Have been several times taking overseas tourists for a look at a wonderful fall.

Classic “welcome to Mt Barney” hike for people wanting to step up from Peasents (south) ridge. New well marked trail beginning from below yellow pinch makes nav much easier.

Navagation on this ridge is difficult and good knowledge of area is needed along with usual gps/map/compass etc. The knife edge ridge is great fun and comparable to logans in degree of difficulty. Exposed and juggy scrambling. Hardest bit is downclimbing off the knife edge ridge where it ends. The knife edge ridge is at beginning of ridge not too far off the peasents (south) summit track. After the knife edge ridge that lasts for a few hundred metres the route is terrible. It becomes very scrubby and featureless with little to no track until near the top where two steep rock outcrops are found. This is where you will find the last tricky scrambling sections. Ridge tops out not too far from Old Hut site.
Actually knife edge ridge 5 star
Everything else on ridge 2 stars and hardly worth doing.

The views are completely worth the trek up

Great hike, good views. Good for beginners

Beautiful views of Mt Timbrogagon, and surrounding peaks.easy walk.Even saw a Wedgetail Eagle

great view.steep hill trails

Nice walk with some views of the mountain but nothing spectacular. Make sure you bring bug spray!

close enough that the drive from Brisbane isn't excruciating, far enough away from the usual Tibro tourists. can be combined with multiple surrounding trails, careful not to get lost as there's many dirt bike trails as well

Great rock scramble with views at the top overlooking Bribie Island and Moreton Island.
Quite exposed on a hott day so bring water.

If this isn't enough for one day there's always Mt Beerwah nearby.

Tough hills, a real challenge, just trail,no rock scrambling, signage is not good ,take plenty of water.

Fantastic hike- but practically a rock climb scramble. I would be weary of the "moderate" rating for inexperienced hikers, but for those with experience you're not likely to get puffed.
Be safe!

Easy track with neat views of the Mt. Tibrogargan. Nothing spectacular but I would recommend for a casual arvo hike/walk.

when it rains, you can cannot go there whole way because the bridge gets flooded

Great walk with varying terrain. Beautiful swimming hole to finish it off.

Bloody steep hills,

One of my favourite Glasshouse Mountains to hike/climb. I’ve never come across anyone else on the trail at the same time, it’s short but steep with some fun rock climbing at the end, plus beautiful views.

Very beautiful walk around the Mountain.
