Consider tide schedules before you go. We had to swim for it on the beach walk back to the campground

I did this one last weekend, anticlockwise, about 5hrs very satisfying walk. First half of the trails was quite normal, just a dull up hill in the woods, and there are quite a lot of people doing trail running on the Border Track to Binna Burra.
when turned off from the Border Track, it was getting exciting, along the way down the Green Mountain there are dozens of waterfalls and the track are rougher, wilder and much more fun too.
I needed to cross the creek quite a few times, and the rock was really slippery. I finally saw the native blue crayfish this time.
highly recommend this one.
BTW, the GPS signal was bad, I tried to record it, but my phone just kept searching for signal., the good thing is the tail is well signed.

Easy trail some section with more steep. But nice lookout view

the local government actually rate this as moderate difficulty and the distance is a little over 3km round trip. I found it pretty easy as I have a fair bit of hiking experience however my wife does not and actually needed to be carried the last 200 or so meters.

There are also rockpool which is an easier path and you can swim in them provided it is flowing. I have been here twice and the first time was flowing quite well due to a good wet season. the second time was today and it was still excellent however slightly lacking in the waterfall section.

This was a generous fire trail road so easy hiking technically, not withstanding some fitness needed with the ups and downs.
Beautiful loop following the ridge lines, as if you're circumnavigating a large bowl.

Easy enough to navigate also.

Bring plenty of water.

Lovely easy and beautiful hike.. recommend for beginners and people who want to take kids ( although under strict supervision as there a few exposed sections up top..nothing to dangerous though) heaps of steps as well and varied plant and bird life.. Went on a rainy day so there were no views at all but on a clear day the views would be amazing...

Nice easy walk, fantastic views of the Whitsundays.

Great views, beautiful afternoon through the rainforest.

A bit hard, mostly steep on the way up to the summit but good training/exercise walk.

Very rough at times, but worth the effort, do it early morning before the heat gets going! Take a rod as there are good fish to be caught, also liver foe bait. Watch for snakes

Absolutely amazing views.. relatively easy going and plenty of wildlife. Highly recommend this hike.

Great views, easy track and awesome weather

I loved it and treated a girlfriend to the walk for her 40th Bday. But we both had moments of real fear. I think it would be prudent to point out there have been a number of deaths and many air-lifted rescues annually because the rock climbing elements are challenging, slippery and unforgiving with even the slightest mis-step. A small, regular day-pack on your back pulls you off balance on rock faces. Experienced, strong hikers would find this walk moderate. Because of this climbing/scrambling on the sheer face and safety aspect only, it should rated HARD not moderate when it is among “hike” suggestions. Preparation and knowledge is always key to making your personal choice about which hiking trails to do so you don’t become a casualty. Hope this helps.

You may see pied cormorant, Australasian darter, welcome swallow, purple swamp hen, dusky moorhen, Australian wood duck and dew waders! Nice walk especially in the evening! I liked it!

Great challenging start not very well signposted but a great walk any way.

Beautiful location

Great track, well marked, easy hike with a good lookout at the end. Not as spectacular as some of the waterfall walks, but well worth a visit.

Nice easy grade hike with lots of switch-backs. Some very nice views out around Bare Rocks.

Completed the Toolona Creek Circuit anti-clockwise starting at O'Reilys car park via the Boarder Track. Visited the Naturalist's Cairn Site along the way and camped overnight at Mount Bithongabel Bush Camp. Has been no rain for weeks possibly months but still water flowing over the many waterfalls and no leeches - highly recommend!

ALSO NOTE: this loop is advertised as 15km, my GPS showed 26km loop - check it out in recordings..

Epic trail!

Completed the track clockwise starting at O'Reilys Rainforest Retreat carpark via the Boarder Track. Visited the Naturalist's Cairn Site along the way and stayed the night at Mount Bithongabel Bush Camp. Many waterfalls along the way and no sign of leeches (although it was very dry). Photographers dream - Enjoy!

I enjoyed this trail. rainforest setting so is very cool as it is mainly shaded by trees. narrow pathway that is well defined and has signs. can be slippery if wet. has a large tree fallen across the track that has been cut I to steps that you need to step over.

Nice easy walk

Definitely for hikers with a lil rock climbing/scrambling experience. Has some small but easy rock climbing sections the walk its self is easy and has some great views! hardest part would be coming down the rock climbing parts. highly recommend.

Unfit and overweight but accomplished it. This is a steep trail with slippery sections but not too difficult for a novice The reward is the peak ❤️

The track was incredibly overgrown with weeds and there were what appeared to be pig diggings everywhere! On the plus side, I didn’t pass any other hikers so it’s nice and quiet. The view of the dam at the top is obstructed.

Great views from the top and worth the steeper climb towards the end. Was less busy than Mt Cordeaux.

Great walk and surprisingly not too steep, considering the impressive views from the top.
