Nice walk along wide trails. Went on a drizzly day, bit muddy in sections. Two or three short steep sections, but nothing difficult.

Easy walk with a few small hill climbs. we took a turn onto Stringybark Circuit thinking it was the way to see the quarry lake, but the Quarry Road is the way to go. Make a left turn before the last hill climb to reach the lakeside. Beautiful spot.

Went in a clockwise direction. Beginning was fine but the end was very steep.

MOUNTAIN BIKE TRACK. This trail is beautiful- but it’s actually a mountain bike trail, seems to be designed for them. So walk if you dare - lucky it was quiet on this day, but a kid told me “you can’t walk on this trail” and another gent told me to “get a bike”.

Walking

some rock steps to navigate, well a few actually going up and coming down but only for about 1 km or so then beach at one end - horseshoe bay and at the other a bitumen road that takes you up and down and around until you end up at the bus stop for the forts. nice walk. Florence Bay my favourite.

Great short track for a more laid back walk and even got to see a whale breaching from the lookout.

The trail was much harder than we thought it would be. Although in our late 60/early 70’s and experienced bush walkers - we would call it moderately hard. The uphill is very steep - hard going up and a little scary coming down - slippery underfoot. However we did it and loved the view from the top. Well worth the climb.

An ok trail if you’re just wanting to walk through the Bush as there’s nothing to see. It’s very easy to get lost with the multiple different trails, not always marked, so like others have mentioned, I had to continually check the map. Went on a Wednesday so not too many mountain bikers but enough that you’ve still got to be wary of them, a few times I only saw them at the last moment.

Lovely walk around the island. The trail includes walking along the sand, mangroves, bush and parks. Not difficult but good shoes for some of the slippery areas is a good idea, and a hat and insect repellent. Would definitely do it again. Thankfully the app kept me on the right route. The ferry over was $10 return trip, fuss free and quick. Nice cafe near the ferry - good coffee.

I parked at tanks, walked along the creek to the start of yellow arrow then went back from there. It’s so busy it’s just a weekday maintenance walk, there are some nice views but most of cairns was there at the same time I was.

Nice and quiet for the most part. Sadly reminded you’re not in the wilderness when you’re walking along peoples back fences

HikingGreat!Muddy

There's better parking at the Toogood Road end than Ellen Close, but Ellen Close has a much shorter walk to the lookout. A nice little walk and not too steep. It's mostly one person-wide dirt track, so be careful if it's been raining a lot.
