Lovely walk, but we didn't do the full loop. Short enough to see the falls and stop for a dip.
Have done this route twice.
Next time hoping to complete the loop, just to tick it off the list.

Have done this twice. Each time it kills me and I swear never again.
But. Those. Views!!!

Wonderful really enjoyed it

Wonderful, really enjoyed it

The perfect track to hike with little people. We did the smaller 3.4km loop and it was fantastic.

Great short walk for both us and the kids

It was a nice hike to get some exercise. Not much to see.

nice easy trail, nice views not too demanding

I walk this every morning and afternoon on the way to and from work and I never get bored, so many activities to do and so many people about...from swimming, activity equipment, tourist attractions, cafe’s and fun parks, it’s got everything.

Great views

road biking

I picked road biking because my friend I decided to give the Lake Manchester loop a go with our drop bar cyclocross / gravel bikes. It was our first visit here and we were unsure of what to expect. Certainly all he photos we had seen excited us of the prospect. We set off with the first climb up past the dam wall to find a fantastic view over the lake. The first km or so was rather picturesque and easy then the climbs started.. they usually don’t bother us because we are actually regular mountain bikers.. we did realise before long however that the gearing on our bikes was to high for the climbs.. especially my friends Giant TCX cyclocross bike.. my Trek Checkpoint gravel bike was more suitable but still tough going with the narrower tyres giving less traction than required. Even though we bike a hiked some of the steeper hills the scenery around the lake made it all worthwhile. So in summary if you want to ride this loop an MTB is definitely the best option to climb the hills and probably more fun on the descents. We just thought it worthwhile to let other gravel bike riders know that it is doable on these bikes if you are rolling wider grippier tyres, your gearing is lower and you are relatively fit.

Do it daily with our dogs. Really nice breeze and a beautiful view

Nice little walk after Brunch.

Easy hike, steep but short! Amazing views of ocean from the top!

there's alot of different trails not just walking tracks i have made about a 10 klm loop go and have a look around .

nice views

Good hike and views, hard on the knees coming down. You can do the circuit to Yabi mountain if keen enough from the top.

One word... challenging! My hubby & I did this one to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. I am so glad we didn't drag the kids on this one.

This is my fav on the sunny coast, track is only open half way until the 16th of nov :(

You may see pied cormorant, Australasian darter, welcome swallow, purple swamp hen, dusky moorhen, Australian wood duck and dew waders! Nice walk especially in the evening! I liked it!

Great walk- quite easy although many steps and a lot of up and down.. well maintained, good paths all the way. Beautiful trees and fun rock pools!(good for all ages)

Rider environment very good , nice wide tracks ,can be challenging.
