I love this track. Such an amazing view while also being so close to town. It’s well signed and also has a few other good trails that are part of a network in the area if you want to try something different. I would say it’s only moderate difficulty if you’re fairly fit, I see plenty of families on the track so it’s one that anyone can have a go out I think. Definitely recommend a swim in stoneys afterward.

A fun hike - the trail is somewhat overgrown in places with cobblers pegs and weeds with thorns. Long pants/sleeves are a good idea. There are a few trees over the track but they are somewhat easy to scramble over or under. The path narrows towards the summit and can be a little vertigo inducing if you aren’t a fan of heights.

A great well kept trail amongst beautiful rainforest. The lookouts along the way offer stunning views. The track is heavily shaded most of the way so bring a warm layer.

Great trail, was second guessing doing the ridge walk loop or just turning around to go back the way we came but would definitely recommend the ridge loop. Lots of loose rocks so need to be careful but the views are better on the ridge side and was easier than I expected.

Good hike up to the summit, uphill but not hard. Bubblers along the way, dogs allowed. Detoured past slaughter falls but there was no water

Quarry was beautiful, tracks can be a little confusing! Went on a few mountain bike trails so probably best just following the main road around, which is what I did for the second half. Saw a couple of horses, overall nice walk

Great trail. No need of maps. Finished it within 4:30 min ..

Awesome spot for jumping off the rocks into the water and having a swim. Wouldn’t recommend as a hike for fitness but good for a quick walk to a nice swimming spot

Lovely light trail. Good running track. Perigine lookout is another good outlook

Great walk, did it in 3hr 20min. You need a gps as easy to get lost. Not well marked. But with this ap we had no problems. As it tells you where to go. The climb up is moderate but on top is easy walking. And a seasonal creek crossing.

Did this yesterday and had the best time! We burnt our brake pads on the drive to the parking spot. We parked next to a warning sign ("Not Suitable for Caravans"), just after the bridge over Northbrook Creek, which itself was just after we passed Wivenhoe Lookout. The right-hand path leads down to the creek, from there you head under the bridge and keep going. Wear waterproof shoes if you have them! In some parts there is a rather overgrown path, in some parts you must cross through the creek, stepping on rocks and in mud. My ankles got a great workout and I'm lucky I didn't roll them. We also climbed under and over fallen trees. I wouldn't bring children younger than 10. The tripping hazards are a little exhausting. It took about 45 mins to get to the exciting bit - a swimming hole with a massive rock gorge and half-pipe cave. Apparently if we had gone further the trail had to be swum through up to chest height. I enjoyed this hike immensely, it was cold and dark in the gully with sunlight filtering in. I'd love to come back with more time and a better vehicle so we could have a swim and a little picnic. I would not feel safe coming here alone unless I was extremely experienced. We struggled finding the path back up the hill and bush-bashed up through thorn bushes. And as I said, we ruined our brakes on the winding road in! It's not suitable for vans, trucks or caravans!

The views from the top are well worth the climb, this was my second hike of the day so my legs felt this one. A nice little scramble to get to the summit. I followed the advice of other reviews on here and didn’t have an issue finding this trail. Will definitely do this one again soon.

Lovely walk but not for the less fit/experienced hikers - it’s steep and slow going in some parts but so beautiful :) waterfalls, snakes, goannas, campsites, wide track, easy to follow, amazing views - bring snacks!!

Beautiful walk, not too difficult but the consistent incline definitely gets the legs working. Amazing views and a great spot for lunch at Bare Rock.

Good trek, fairly easy. Be careful not to miss the entrance of the hike off the fire trail. Lots of small loose rocks at the bases, be careful of your ankles. Nice easterly view from the top

Great rock scramble. Recommended to not be scared of heights and be confident in your ability to climb, cross and jump onto rocky steep mountain trails. Only the beginning rock scramble section is the steepest part.

Good hike. First 2kms uphill and reasonably steep. The recent rain has washed out a few sections (wouldn’t do it in the wet). Use a gps as the track loop at the top isn’t marked and there are many other forestry trails to follow. The app warned us when we went off route. We turned right at the top and followed the loop. There is a large fallen tree over one section of the track and not far after this the track looks like it veers to the left on a forestry trail. This is not the way. You need to cross the seasonal creek that is quite overgrown with grass. Part of the loop section is quite open so wear sunscreen. Overall nice walk.

Went clockwise, down hill a lot at the start but very tough steep uphill for end half. There is controlled burning going on at the moment so parts are closed and is a little hard to track where you’re not allowed to walk so just be careful. Some good views and great overall hike, very peaceful

Excellent challenge. Cool to walk out on to Lake Morris road where lots of people ride; then continue on to the second peak. Difficult if heading down boiboi trail to Redlynch. Had to slide a far few sections. Gloves helped with that. No real views.
