Getting to summit point via the goat track first thing in the morning to watch the sun come up is the best way to start your day. No matter what your level of fitness your thighs will be burning by the final few steps before you step out onto the road. I’ve run it with friends for fitness but it also makes a pleasant walk at a much slower pace with my six year old. If you’re going up after sunrise taking water is a must it’s gonna get warm.
