The trial was good, not overgrown as some have said, there is just a bit where the path is a little thinner than everywhere else. Was a nice stroll with a great view at the top.

Went clockwise, down hill a lot at the start but very tough steep uphill for end half. There is controlled burning going on at the moment so parts are closed and is a little hard to track where you’re not allowed to walk so just be careful. Some good views and great overall hike, very peaceful

Great trail overall but you need to walk under a large underpass and the trail seems to go through a school which can feel a little odd trying to navigate through. otherwise you have to walk on the road around the school/Griffiths university which has bus traffic. View from mount Gravatt is awesome though

Went anti clockwise to go up chainsaw, not for the faint hearted

some say easy but I smoked for 40 odd yrs so it sorted me out eh...will be making this track my regular walk...ps...became temporarily misplaced twice..

Great trail slightly longer then listed but loved it quite easy with slight inclines and very popular!

Walked with my 8yr old and it was very doable with some fun rocks and a log bridge! We stopped at the cafe at the top and had a smoothie too!

Really nice little trail - quiet wooded area. A small section of it is closed but you can rejoin the trail via a diversion. Very good for trail running and not far from the city.

Seeing a Koala was the highlight

Great track, return track was partially closed due to overgrown so went back the same way we got there.

This is a pleasant, easy walk not too far from Brisbane. Would recommend for those with children. Not for those seeking something challenging or isolated.

Definitely reopened! Excellent walk. Steep incline to start with but then flattens our a bit with a few uphill/downhill sections. Beautiful walk and you can walk down to the edge of the reservoir at certain sections. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this walk, got a little lost off and extended into a 11km trail, which suited us fine. Beautiful views after very steep climb. Went clockwise

Beautiful walk! Would love to see it after rain as all the creek beds were dry.

Difficult locating some of the nature trails - signage was mostly for paved or main trails. 6km turned into 8km trying to find where trails started. Once you get off the pavement it’s nice and quiet. Lots of shade and well used tracks.

Good for a stroll. Not much to see.

Enjoyable 2 hour trail - mostly shaded. Some hills but nothing crazy.

Quick 20 min walk in nice bushland just outside the city

Easy 20 min walk through bush, plenty of shade and trail is wide enough for a car

had to pull up short. niggling old injury didn't want to inflame . I loved it tho!

Great half day hike with beautiful views. Easily accessible and mostly shaded with some exposed areas. Amenities at the halfway point. Some moderately steep incline at the start and a short, moderately challenging decline on the back end. We saw a monitor lizard at the lookout which was nice! Also great birdscape.

Easy but long trail. Pretty rocky with some stairs. Not as colourful scenery to walk through compared to other nearby trails. View at the top was nice over-looking the Brisbane City. Nice hike for tourists.

05 April 2020 - This track was closed due to Covid-19 restrictions this morning; it's otherwise a good distance loop for a family of four to do.

Excellent track - well maintained - beautiful views at the top

Except for that view onto Lake Manchester, this is not a very gratifying hike. At the moment there are butterflies and grasshoppers everywhere. The up and down is continuous and relentless. Bring aplenty of water. If you can do it in 6 hours you are fit! Probably more like 6 and a half! And also ATM, with COVID, gold creek is close. However you can scramble your way up straight across the creek from the car park to join a track that merges with this circuit and therefore bypass the closed SEQ Gold Creek reserve.

Great track which you can make as hard or as easy as you like. Great for dogs also. Bring mosquito repellant!
