Great hike very nice views easy hike

Hiked this a few times - great entry level hike to take new hikers getting used to longer distances.

it is a great walk marred on slightly by two things; the signage at key points is not good(we did an extra loop) and the section at the dam wall is is very unclear and blocked locked gates. We ended up doing 14.6km instead of 11 which was ok if at little frustrating.

Enjoyed this on my own, easy to navigate. If you start clockwise, just keep turning right. By going clockwise you get the most challenging hills out of the way first. Start early and take lots of water, it gets hot. would do it again.

Consider tide schedules before you go. We had to swim for it on the beach walk back to the campground

Amazing view, at the top,a tough hike. Take plenty of water, and a hat. Some hills are steep, and some surfaces are loose gravel, small rock surface, so be careful on the hills, especially descending.
No signage, so a GPS or compass essential.
A great hike to work those leg muscles.

Good trail for all comers

Excellent quick hike close to Brisbane with awesome 360 degree views. The terrain varies along the trail and has something for every from power hiking to a short section of scrambling near the top. Takes under two hours to reach summit with regular water breaks.

Really fun to hike, i took all my gear even though i wasn’t camping to give myself a challenge, but it is longer than 19km especially if you do some of the lookouts and waterfalls which are well worth it! Take lots of water too (it was about 30°c when i hiked).

Can be done by all ages in any gear

Family hike. Kids struggled a little with the step sections. Average scenery.

Great early morning walk on a very hot Brisbane day... a lot was shaded... there are some challenging hills to give you a work out and the views of the reservoir are lovely. Will include in our favourite walking trails.

nice walk very nice flura and fauna

Always a good hike

Loved this! Started early from Binna Burra and walked the whole day, took about 7-8 hours. Stayed the night at O’Rielys and was given a ride back to our car by one of the O’Riely family members the next day.
The hike itself isn’t very difficult, beautiful scenery and a pretty quiet track.

Fab views. The lower track is all concrete & can be very busy as its also access to the beaches along the creek. Love this area.

Love this walk

Really beautiful waterfall, best on the coast I think.

Easy, short, beautiful.

Beautiful falls.

I did this one last weekend, anticlockwise, about 5hrs very satisfying walk. First half of the trails was quite normal, just a dull up hill in the woods, and there are quite a lot of people doing trail running on the Border Track to Binna Burra.
when turned off from the Border Track, it was getting exciting, along the way down the Green Mountain there are dozens of waterfalls and the track are rougher, wilder and much more fun too.
I needed to cross the creek quite a few times, and the rock was really slippery. I finally saw the native blue crayfish this time.
highly recommend this one.
BTW, the GPS signal was bad, I tried to record it, but my phone just kept searching for signal., the good thing is the tail is well signed.

Steep in parts. Passes through some amazing forest. View at the lookout was spectacular. Take plenty of water.

Easy trail some section with more steep. But nice lookout view

A great hike! Tough ascents but nothing unmanageable. Very varied terrain and beautiful views which kept things interesting. Wore trainers and had a couple of skids on the way down, so probably best to wear boots.

Good walk to get the heart rate up. Pretty steep at the start and track is a little rugged in places with rocks, tree roots etc. The views from the top are great. Approx. 2.8klm round trip from the car park which took around 45 minutes.

An enjoyable hike. There’s a few dips and elevations but could be achievable by most.
Bring water for hot days. Most of the track is covered and the reservoir is beautiful to look at.

the local government actually rate this as moderate difficulty and the distance is a little over 3km round trip. I found it pretty easy as I have a fair bit of hiking experience however my wife does not and actually needed to be carried the last 200 or so meters.

There are also rockpool which is an easier path and you can swim in them provided it is flowing. I have been here twice and the first time was flowing quite well due to a good wet season. the second time was today and it was still excellent however slightly lacking in the waterfall section.

This was a generous fire trail road so easy hiking technically, not withstanding some fitness needed with the ups and downs.
Beautiful loop following the ridge lines, as if you're circumnavigating a large bowl.

Easy enough to navigate also.

Bring plenty of water.

Nice and steamy after recent rain but trail in great shape. Was amazing how often the flora changes in such a short distance. A truly visual treat.
