Have walked the rail trail from Wanora through to Yarraman (5 days). Can highly recommend this walk. I would not recommend that you take your dog on any section of the rail trail as it passes through alot of unfenced farmland with farm dogs on the loose. Accommodation was a mixture of pub accommodation and motels, with an over night camp at Coominya. Facilities were better along the track the further in you walked. Would love to do the whole walk now that the trail has been completed.

Holy fuuuuuuuuuucckkkkkkkkkkkkk

The area is surrounded by new estates and houses. Traffic is loud.
2 stars for the simple fact its a good workout and there is a secret area with stairs behind the water tower with an alright outlook of the ranges.

You are within the sound of traffic and in sight of people's backyards for most of this loop. Also NB: loop itself has uneven stairs, well worn. But there are some lovely trees and happy looking wallabies.

Great falls for skinny dipping!

Great spot. Peaceful. Dog and kid friendly. Well maintained tracks. Nice spot to stop for a quick swim as well.
