Loved this hike. I’ve hiked a lot and this trail is moderately hard. The rock scramble is by far the coolest part of the hike. It’s not technical but I recommend taking your time and go at a pace comfortable for you.

The hike took us about 5 hours with multiple stops. We could have done it in about 3.5-4 hours if we didn’t stop as much. Not a lot of views until you’re almost to the top.

Only negative: be aware of poisonous creatures along the way. Aka: don’t touch anything. We did see a small black red bellied snake on the ride of the trail and stayed far away from it. Highly poisonous.

Plan to hike it on a clear day so you get 360 degree views. We only had one day in our schedules for it and it was quite cloudy. We did wait for the clouds to break and were able to see all the way to Byron Bay.

If you’re using a GPS, the address for the hike is about 3-4 miles short. You will need to continue up the winding road to where it dead ends to start the hike.

Epic hike. I’d recommend adding it to your travel plans if you’re in the area.

Great hike, interesting change from up high to down in the rain forest. Not sure why but Strava says this was almost 2km longer and 145 m more elevation gain than All Trails says. Elevation gain isn’t always accurate but distance usually is so beware it’s a good 30-35% longer than then 5.5km listed here.

great hike with stunning views of the top of Mt Solitary however the loop is longer than the quoted 31 kms we started our hike at Scenic world and had already racked up 35kms by the time we finished at the top of the giant stairway at echo point so would've been at least another couple of kms it took us 12 hours total time so unless you really like a challenge I'd recommend spreading this one over 2 days

Last bit is less spectacular but a good hike otherwise

Great hike. Can be challenging coming up out of the canyon for those not used to it, but it’s worth it. Grand Canyon shows a very different side of the area once all the lookouts start to look the same.

7.8 km of beautiful nature. lots of stairs, but every one of them worth it. the end wasn’t easy for me

Great walk with lots of goannas and a fab lunch on the water at the Eatery at Bobbin Head.
Took the Bobbin Head trail down and Warimoo back.

The perfect walk for a hot day in Summer... highly recommend doing this with a lilo. We walked / swam along the river and it was pretty exhausting. Also make sure you know where the exit point is.

Steep but not overly challenging walk - the last section involves a rock scramble aided by chains. Worth getting up early to catch sunrise from the top!

Great walk to start early morning. We started from Cowan and finished at Hawkesbury River with few great cafes just over 04 hours 20 minutes .

Maitland Bay is one of my favourite hikes, and this circuit combines some of the best views in Bouddi National park with a swim at the beautiful Maitland Bay beach on the way back. Maitland Bay gets busier each year and the Coastal Track is quite popular, but you're unlikely to see anyone on the Bullimah Spur track.

Tough but rewarding walk... would have been nicer on a warm day, rather than the hottest day on record for Sydney's west! Nice camping area by the Kowmung river.

First off this is definitely doable in one day despite so many things I read that made it seem extremely difficult. Much of the trail is level and even on man made walkways in many spots. One if the most difficult portions was the detour to the Figure 8 pools, which for my money can be skipped.

What I will say is that if you start in Bundeena like I did because I was worried about catching the last ferry, be aware that the final 3-4 miles are all uphill. It's not terribly steep and there are steps for most of the way but after 13 miles it's tough enough. Also it's good to know that there's no ticket machine at the Otford station so make sure you have a full card or a ticket in advance.

Otherwise this is an incredible experience with some of the most beautiful coastlines and beaches you can ever hope to see. And it's not crowded in the slightest so at times you'll feel that you have it all to yourself.

We discovered Govetts leap. Approx 7km return from Evansookout carpark. lots of steps but well worth it for the veiws.

This is a nice track. Plenty of challenging hills (of the uphill and downhill variety). Nice scenery, also opportunities to see wildlife (saw some roos, sheep, horses and a snake). The campground at the Cox's River had water in the tank, but the other campsites not so lucky so be sure to take plenty of water.

This is great early morning walk, took us 2:33 minutes with medium pace !

An enjoyable walk with some good views and a few different landscapes (beach, rainforest, bush). The hard rating is an overstatement, more a moderate walk. Saw a wild echidna next to one of the boardwalks.

Had to give 5 stars. An iconic walk in the upper Blue Mountains. Great views of Mt Banks, highest cliff in the Blue Mountains and great views of the Grose Valley. The Grand Canyon walk is superb with extensive periods of cool temperate rainforest. There is a fair amount of stairs, overall 640 metres of ascent and all worth it. The last part is the Braeside walk beside a sandstone bottomed creek that passes through a lush Blue Mountains hanging swamp. Can get a bit crowded in the holiday season but one of the great walks in Blackheath.

Awesome walk with some beautiful swimming holes along the way. Easy to get to and from on the train and a hard enough walk to test the legs.

Rated hard for a reason, a word of advice... travel light

Very scenic , can be done with kids

Great trail for a long point to point walk. Well traveled and marked. Bring your own supplies. Easily accessible via train (make sure to look at the schedule ahead of time)

Competed this walk in sections. It’s a nice walk.

Jerusalem bay is a spectacular sight on a sunny day. Leave time to have a swim on the warmer days. The walk has some great views. Climbing out of Jerusalem bay isn't for the faint hearted but we'll worth it.

was a very pretty walk...nice single track...absolutely beautiful!

Did this one back in 2006, gearing up to do it again in 2018. A difficult, but rewarding walk. watch out for tiger snakes!
