Best walk along the ocean and then to take a swim afterwards.

This is one of the first walks you should complete during your stay in Sydney. Walks around the Northernmost headland of Sydney Harbour, giving you views of wealthy neighbourhoods like Mosman & Watsons Bay. Plenty of spots for swim or a snorkel in Sydney Harbour. I would recommend starting at The Spit and walking to Manly, as better transport and more pubs for a beer.

Difficulty : Easy - Moderate, majority is paved pathways, with a couple of steep rock staircases, though nothing that lasts long, that along with the the duration makes it a moderate hike but is frequently enjoyed by people of all ages and sizes.

An amazing walk across arguably the best beaches in Sydney. The views of the unique coastline all the way up to the central coast can be seen. Plenty of opportunities to have a swim in the ocean throughout this walk.

Difficulty : Easy - Moderate, If you are not walking on a paved pathway, you will be on sand which makes it a touch more difficult, a few decent headlands to cross but nothing to bad.

Great hike along Sydneys most famous coastline, from Bondi to Coogee. Very clear pathway that is easy to walk on and find. Many beaches/coves along the way for swims to break up the day. Usually the first walk many tourists do, making it heavily trafficked.

Difficulty : Easy, pathed and very clearly marked. If you don’t see tourists, you have taken a wrong turn.

Really great scenic walk. You want to take pics on every bend

perfect to enjoy with your friends

Nice easy walk with plenty of history and beautiful views of Sydney along the way.

It was short and sweet. Beautiful forest

Great challenging run, with some nice climbs here and there, but nothing crazy hard. The part next to the river gives some nice views. I lost the track a few times, so it might be good to bring your phone, but you can never get lost too far in this track. Can recommend for running!

Love it ..

So beautiful view! We love it!

Excellent walk with great sunrise photo opportunities.
Will definitely do it again

Great walk but think from Spit to Manly is the way to go. You can have a beer at the Manly end.

Great views, bit hard to find the route sometimes, semi challenging inclines. Would recommend going here!

great experience... two times till now and still love to go for this coastal walk

Great views especially at sunrise and go for a swim !

So nice! We all love it. My kid are enjoying too.

Walked a few k’s along this track in early August 2018 - within a few hundred meters from leaving lane cove river park at lady game drive you could be anywhere yet so close to sydney - it’s a great walk - although the wattle have been fooled into flowering early this year with all the dry warm weather .

My favourite walk in Sydney - changing views, bushland and beaches finished off by a burger in Manly. Prefer to do this Spit to Manly rather than the other way round. In summer take your bathers and have a swim at Fairlight ocean pool . Always enjoyable

Great part of Sydney , nice and flat great ride for all levels .

Absolute must if visiting Sydney. The views across the cliffs and ocean are stunning. Nothing like this will make you feel more at home in Australia.

Fantastic landscape!!! I would do it again
