Did entire hike and went from Austinmer to Stanwell Park direction, took roughly 6 hours. Great views of the coast from the look outs and trail was in good condition. A few areas required careful attention to makeshift signage. Climbing the first section was a good fitness check and as well as the last component through Wodi Wodi track. Overall, was a great hike and was glad to have done it in dry conditions with no leeches or mud about.

Great short hike. The start of the trail was a little steep, so be prepared for a little sweat. Once up the mountain, there were beautiful views. Highly recommended!

A little challenging with its up then down then up then down track. Was pretty busy when we went. We left from Stanwell station, then joined the road to return from coalcliff. Might have expected to have better views but was still a great walk.

Great views along the path, the ladders at Sublime Point are fun.

Excellent long day hike. We started at Stanwell Park train station completed the hike at Austinmer Station. Exactly 17 km. Shady, great views, diverse bush, not too many other walkers. No water refill options. A bit of a scramble but otherwise a good hike.

Hiking was disappointing. Was expecting better views or waterfalls but just a small creek. Nice bush and vegetation but no worth the walk!

This was a really nice place to walk, although tough climbs along the way. We went from Stanwell train station and after walking the track returned along the road. This made for both a change of scenery and an easier return to the car. www.yearofthepicnic.com

Loved it. Beautiful scenery

Great walk ! Not very clearly marked at stages throughout the track so be sure to check the gps If you get off track Would definitely recommend bringing binoculars during whale migrating season as there are great view points.

Excellent track, fairly demanding and interesting. The steps/ladders are not difficult at all. Highly recommended.

Great trail, first 2k was a bit tricky, specially for the young kids. Wouldn’t take kids younger then 5. Nice views though! We circled back to the beach via the highway and Kangaroo road. Nice way to make it around 6k.

Started at the track head 1km north of Coalcliff station. Tough climb up the mountain but spectacular. Continued on for a total of 15km to Austinmer station - moderate track with some tough parts but highly recommended

Some absolutely beautiful bush on this walk, definitely worth a go. Nice clear creek to explore if your up for some rock hopping and a quick dip. Don’t go after rain with your wife but haha. Leeches loved her

Great walk with great views - the Wodi Wodi track is rough and can get a bit muddy. You can avoid this section by starting the walk at Coalcliff railway station. https://hikingtheworld.blog/2019/04/07/illawarra-escarpment-track/

The trail turned out to be much longer than expected. Some wonderful lookouts on the way. Get atleast 3 litres of water and some quick snacks to munch on.

It's a bit hard in the beginning and at the end but flat in the middle. Some really nice lookouts on the way.

Took much longer than anticipated. The 1st 2km is fairly rough terrain and not well sign posted. Thank god for this app.
