North Turramurra, New South Wales Map

Starting at the sphinx, the steep decline is a challenging ascent, making sure not to step on the wrong stone or branch. The steps take you down to a breathtaking view of the river, where the path leads you to the marine. The path is covered with small stones, so beware the ankles.

The second part of the track is the fire trail, which is a bit less spectacular, but is a great way to recover after the steep climb.

Had tons of fun while doing this run, will do it again!

Part of this is beautiful, part very boring. Don't do the loop, do an in and back along the river. The top part of a boring fire trail with no view.

i loved this walk ,beautiful scenery .Couldn't believe how clear the waters of Cowan creek are.

This walk is so far the best I went to..really enjoyed the nature and the bush !!

Really nice way to spend a Sunday with a cafe at the mid way point.

Nice track - we did the Warrimoo track first up to Bobbin Head had lunch at the Galley eatery and came back down the Bobbin Head track. It meant we went down the stairs instead of up and got the dull dirt track at the end, so suggest you do it the other way round!

Scenic views!

Great walk with lots of goannas and a fab lunch on the water at the Eatery at Bobbin Head.
Took the Bobbin Head trail down and Warimoo back.

This is great early morning walk, took us 2:33 minutes with medium pace !

Beautiful walk

Decided to go clockwise getting the dull dirt track out of the way first. When we descended on the marina and the park the views were lovely. We stopped here for lunch. There's a cafe and Bobbin in if you'd like a bite and a drink. The second half of the track is scenic and along the water. Final ascend to the sphinx is a few stairs. Takes about 20 min.

A beautiful day. I went the reverse direction down Sphinx trail with a stop at the marina cafe for a cappucino and brunch before going back up Warrimoo. The entry fee is $12 which you can avoid by parking on the side of the road before the gate. The trail head is within easy walking distance from the road.

very easy track

Great length track and wildlife sightings
