The directions to the start of the trail are excellent, the roads leading to the national park are very narrow and a 4WD would be recommended to get to the start of the Trail. The hike itself is mostly along the roads, and ranger vehicle tracks. The first part of the hike has a steady incline and leads into a stunning lookout. The second half of the track is much a muchness. Some of the trail leads through private property, which we didn’t realise until we exited the private property. No wildlife spotted. Hike was 10kms and completed in just over two hours. A nice, quiet hike, we didn’t see anyone at all. There are much nicer hikes in the regions. With more scenic photo opportunities and more wildlife to spot.
