An amazing walk, there is one broken sign where it's not entirely clear to climb the stairs to continue the loop otherwise very easy to follow. Steps, low hanging rock cliffs - amazing views!

Great walk offering scenic views and varied landscapes including the mountains, bush inland and canyon rock formations in the rainforest. Should plan for 4-5 h to do the hike at a comfortable pace including breaks for photos and lunch. Would definitely recommend this hike for a day trip activity in the Blue Mountains.

my legs are so sore!

my favourite

Fabulous walk, a short hike to see Waratahs and nature at its best

classic track!!!

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever walked!

Track was hard to find at times. There are some painted arrows which help. If in doubt, check the path doesn't continue on the other side of the creeks.

If you love stairs this is the walk for you - about 3700 in a round trip up and down Perry's Track. Honestly, I was cursing Perry and his stairs the whole way down but the views from the lookouts and of Cox's River at the bottom make it worthwhile. The sign says it's a six hour return trip but it took about two all up, or if you're up for an overnight trip there is a good camping spot at the bottom.

Great track, when you reach the bottom of the waterfall take a good rest as you'll be climbing stairs all the way and past the top!

Nice walk. Used to be more challenging and fun before they put all the stone and wooden steps. Still a pretty and enjoyable walk and it’s a nice meander along the canyon floor.

Gorgeous walk where my gf and saw all sorts of wildlife from lyre birds to lizards, a snake, wallabys and more! Beautiful change in forest from bush at the top to rainforest down low by the creeks.

great trail, lots of nice views.

Stunning views!

Trail was moderate until I hit greaves creek. Got stuck and lost the trail. Couldn’t figure out how to move forward. So I back tracked and went on an alternate trail. I looked up Luke Ryan’s recording post hike and can see that he also got stuck where I did, but it looks like he figured it out.

Prefer a more natural walk without all the stone steps

nice track! the stairs were killer though

It was really fun and great experience. One of the epic moment in my life.

Gorgeous trail, every step of the way! Those stairs will take it out of you though!

Amazing walk but a lot of steep stairs.

cool canyons and a really well maintained track, took us bang on 2hrs

It’s one of the best hikes I’ve been on with a big climb out of the valley but the swimming holes along the trail make up for it. Even in winter you still can have a quick dip, the water temp is nearly the same as the air temp

Incredible mix of history, views, waterfalls, rainforest and canyons. Enjoyed this walk so much and every step up an down was worth it!

Amazing walk! Lots of things to see. Caves, little pools and much more! There's a lot of steps but it's well worth it! If you come to the Blue Mountains, you must do this walk!

One of the more beautiful walks around that is for sure. The rainforest sections were breathtaking. Definitely a lot of stairs so heads up. Will be doing it again.

Awesome trek. Very hard!!!

Such a beautiful hike! Will definitely do it again. Coming up out of the rainforest at the end was tough.. So many stairs but we'll worth it. We were pretty proud of ourselves afterwards :)

Great hike, interesting change from up high to down in the rain forest. Not sure why but Strava says this was almost 2km longer and 145 m more elevation gain than All Trails says. Elevation gain isn’t always accurate but distance usually is so beware it’s a good 30-35% longer than then 5.5km listed here.

Great hike. Can be challenging coming up out of the canyon for those not used to it, but it’s worth it. Grand Canyon shows a very different side of the area once all the lookouts start to look the same.
