It was a lovely hike with varying scenery. Not technical in any way, shape, or form, and only receives a moderate difficulty rating due to the distance. We finished our hike on camel hump where we got to see some splendid views and had a refreshing breeze cool us down. Mount Macedon pub for a pint of Beachworth ale is the best way to finish.

Great trail for beginners and young children. In the heat it can be a bit challenging for the more exercise adverse. Great rocks for jumping off for a swim.

Got lost a bit. Missus twisted her knee. Took a 'shortcut' uphill very bad idea lol
All in all good walk!

A great one to avoid crowds. Not a great track up, well the one we found anyway. Starts from a 4wd access track up the road from Tibrogargan car park and opposite a property with a big shed. We went up 1 track and down a different one. This was fun as it’s not well known, great views of Mt Tibrogargan.

Best when everyone is at work as it can get busy. A nice entry into the Glasshouse Mountains, easy hike but lovely views.

Sunrise walk in August 18. We camped at the camp ground not far from Mt Warning car park the night before. We set off by 3am and made it up with plenty of time to spare for sunrise.
It was very cold up the top, warm jacket, beanie & long pants recommended. The sunrise was spectacular & a must do!

wineglass bay is very beautiful. nice fir swimming. multiple sightings of wallaby along the hike. this trail has little shade. there were some mosquitoes; seems to increase in activity in the afternoon.

The entry when driving in wasn't as clear but once you park and walk to track it's clearly signed. Great track for the family.

great hike

busy but great walk.

It’s actually called the Kyema trail, named after an aircraft that crashed into the mountain in the 1930’s. Macarthur Job wrote an excellent book about the crash and the effects this had on Australian politics and air navigation safety. There is a small memorial about 500m short of the Mt Dandenong summit.
Good city views and full mobile coverage along this track.

As Michelle Griffin stated it perfectly. Wading through waist deep fern foliage and climbing tree fern avenues. Amazing magical place. This will be a regular for me. This is a track for some one with endurance fitness.

Nice, easy and flat with plenty of shade. Only downside is the sound of motorbikes on a weekend.

It started mostly downhill so all I could think about the fact it’s a loop and that means there’s going to be uphill to get back. I’m not fit at all and probably should have started with an “easy” track but this was achievable and fun. Glad I made it lol.

This trail took about 2.5 hours to complete and had a steep, very rocky climb in one section. I wouldn’t rate this section easy. Parts of the track in the gully are becoming overgrown with spiky berries so wear pants.

Hiked Walhalla - Poverty Point - Thomson station - Walhalla (18.5km). Track is overgrown with blackberries for much of the way and there are lots of fallen trees you have to scramble over or under. Pretty scenery, and a few snakes along the way. Mostly flat except for a cracker of a hill as you depart Thomson towards Walhalla

Very fun walk as there were a lot of interesting features along the way (such as a tunnel that you go through, viewpoints and yummy berry bushes) and the paths were interesting as they are very up and down and the terrain varied from flat paths to rocky paths to stairs etc. So the variability in the terrain made it interesting and fun. However because of this I would not rate it easy I would rate it moderate. In terms of facilities there are toilets about half way through. Overall great and fun hike :)

The write up for this walk is very very misleading. It is actually a climb over boulders. You are climbing up a creek.

Super challenging on the way up, but definitely well worth it with heaps of amazing foliage and scenery. well worth the trip to the top!

Nice easy trail with a few small inclines to help get the heart rate up a bit. Not many views of the lake (dam) though - winds mostly through bush land and very much a constructed area. Not quite what we were after on the day but also beautiful picnic areas and other walks/activities to take advantage of ☺️

Also, track is mostly exposed to weather so remember your hat and sun cream!

Beautiful scenery. Need to cross over several roads at points, but just look out for the orange markers. Some fallen trees to step/climb over. Out is slightly downhill, and back slightly uphill.

This trail is rated medium difficulty by the Dharawal National Park. Good signage and clear path. There are a few sneaky little places you can hop off the trail to get some awesome pics. Harder on the way back as you are going uphill. Would definitely do it again.

Started from the Visitors Centre. Riverside Trail was fairly easy up to the bridge where it joined up to the Great North Walk. The trail then became more challenging with more scrambling over fallen trees and boulders. Lost the trail a couple of times, first near the Blue Hole and then under one of the overhangs past the Terrace Road intersection.
Pretty walk with lots of wildlife. Nice cafe with good tea selection to reward you at the end.
