Good walk, some parts overgrown and track unclear. Not much water on falls but still beautiful, some of the party traversed down to natural pool below but I wasn’t that brave, maybe next time. Plenty of snakes and ticks so use gaiters and deet.

Nice walk following creek beds, awesome red gums. A fair bit of debris and fallen trees along track due to past flooding. Saw a yabbie at creek crossing and markings in the sandstone from aborigines sharpening spears from long ago. Red hands cave is a cool piece of history.

Walked from Kiama to Minnamurra return, beautiful coast walk, Bombo quarry and cathedral rock are awesome. Walked at low tide so we could do around some of headlands via rocks.

We Have done the Waterous twice previously, both as one dayers in Spring when the wildflowers made it a stunning ride. This time we did it in Winter over two days staying overnight at the Bidjar Ngoulin Hut on the Munda Biddi. The first part of the Waterous from Waroona Dam to the hut was quite overgrown in places and we got soaked from the vegetation. But we enjoyed staying in the hut and a drier and more leisurely second day. Thoroughly recommend doing it in spring.

Great trail for adults and young kids alike. Nice wide trail.

My 7yr old son and I did this hike from Gap Creek Reserve and had no idea it went to the top of Channel 9 on Mt Coot-tha. It was a fantastic workout and very scenic up and back down again!

I headed out on Sunday morning with my beloved pooch to take a run only to be let by signs with the no dogs symbol on them. I parked in the main carpark where the coffee cart is located. Was I in the wrong place? We were both super disappointed.

Walked this anticlockwise though I reckon the other way might be better, avoiding the long march back at the end. It was varied and good fun, some steep bits so poles and boots recommended. Mostly on road type tracks but good views. Other side routes could be explored.

Wet as fuck, cold cold cold

This loop is amazing with beautiful trees and wild flowers in the route. I had my breakfast close to lake , a perfect place far from city noise. Amazing views and birds sounds gave me lots of energy.

Good well pathed

Only an hour out of Sydney, easy-moderate bike, good trek for a family.

Very easy stroll around the lake. Great for kids and the elderly. Some pretty views. Needs more signage.

really great track for a nice walk with the dog, excellent scenery and lots of greenery

Walked along the trail from the burns beach road entrance to neerabup road and back. It took less than 2 hours. Enjoyed the scenery, the views of the ocean, then the taller trees as you go down hill on the way out. Noticed some beautiful banksias and black cockatoos. More cyclists use this trail than walkers.

The FEELING: guess it will turn to be an essay if I describe it, the rays of sun playing hide and seek behind the curtain of clouds created a perfect bluish as it reflcted against the sea, the waves of tides climbing up the rocks produced the most melodious music and the songs that birds sing all along the track..... it just keeps on and on.

Just did Appin with my 15yo son. My first time in about 7 years, his first time ever. Fun track to ride. Pretty good condition, albeit very sandy. Few Moto's around and have chewed some corners up a bit. Disappointed the bridge after the rock drop is gone. Will definitely ride again.

Great easy track. Takes around 2 hours. Good for dogs and kids. This map takes the trail through the gardens for some reason, as you cannot take dogs into the garden. Just follow falls road back to the starting point.

nice moderate difficulty walk, ~11km

Really fun! Tought it was for kids when i started, turned out you need a decent fitness level to hike up for more fun!

It’s all about the reward at the end. The hike there and back is not that interesting but the track is in good condition and the view from the lookout is one of the best in the Blue Mountains. Do not miss this gem
