Nice trail with several creek crossings nice to see elements of the Gold Rush era. Will do this one again :)

Very nice walk, best in Tasmania. We started and returned at Dove Point though. Last part to the summit is hard and can be tricky.

very nice

Good trail with some definitely steep sections on Dozer, but not loose or super rocky. Shame about the bitumen finish.

nice trail along creek on concrete surface missed an sign and ended up not doing the trail. could do with some signage.

Enjoyable walk but trail isn't marked well.

The caves are awesome but between the Campground and Hollow Cave is pretty overgrown and it is near on impossible to follow a trail all the way up. Between the two caves are two gullies that are extremely overgrown. It is very difficult to see where you are or where you are going at times and many times I had to backtrack because the vegetation became impenetrable. The trick (I think) is to make your way up to Hollow Cave on the north side of the ridge line as it is super overgrown right near the rock face. Then when you go through Hollow Cave to make your way to red cave, don’t make a beeline to the cave as it takes you too low in the gullies where it is insanely overgrown and extremely hard going. Instead you will see a rocky outcrop in between - definitely go on the uphill side of that and roughly follow that line through the next gully as well. All in all a very fun but challenging outing with a reward of spectacular views and some great rock art. Top tip - where decent pants or your legs will be scratched up really bad.

Enjoyable walk, lots of interesting historical sites. Lots of roads and paths so can easily tack the wrong track. Using AllTrails app assisted us to stay on track.

This was a hard track to do. The climb up cradle was tough and I had to slide back down on some rocks on my bum . We bit off more than we can chew with doing all this in one day but it was awesome to tick them off the list

Exposed but beautiful easy cliff side walk. Allow hour and a half return at moderate pace

Definitely recommend doing the main ridge loop, Charlotte pass to summit lookout isn’t worth it on its own. Took us 5.5 hours with a nice log break in the middle

Love this hike, starting from Edgar Street and making your way down past the private property may look sketchy at first but once you past it, it's pure bliss. great hike all year round, bit of rock scrambling and water crossing required. loved walking across the open field and climbing to the top of the dam wall. highly recommend

Definitely underestimated this one. After climbing boulders and a pretty much vertical incline, we made it to the top and what a reward that was

Quite easy walk. Great view over lake when arrive.

Trail is not easy to find and depending on where you find it.. it can be as long or short as you want. We started in Bitcoin park and it was about 4.2 k.

Was a lovely walk, beautiful views and good if you like the thrill of heights. Lots of kangaroos, rocky cliffs and cool mine shafts along the way to look at. Wouldnt recommend dogs off leash at all. Due to high drops. The direction points were very clear at the start but lacked in the end. Overall really nice walk and would definitely recommended!

fabulous trail, did full through hike so beautiful, full blog post and youtube coming soon on cake and eat it 3

Sandy and rocky path through beautiful forested area. Downhill all the way to the creek so you know what that means... Pretty creek which wasn't flowing very fast as we were there in dry weather. We went on quite a hot day but it was still lovely and cool looking around the old funicular and along the creek. Very interesting and enjoyable hike!

Pretty steep and slippery at parts. Like the other posts said take as much water as possible, you'll go through it in no time. Multiple swimming holes with small falls for the first half of the hike

Enjoyed walk and historic sites. Lots of trails so this app was essential in not getting lost!
