Giving this place a 5 because it was so peaceful and serene. The hike wasn’t too hard, only a few steep hills to climb. Most of the track is also quite narrow too. Going in the afternoon also provided beautiful sunset views over the reservoir. nice after a half day at work 

Nice walk, lots of birds.

Apart from being a wet day this was a pleasant walk

A walk for the more experienced hikers, track can get a bit tricky to follow at times but hiking clubs have marked the way to Westrays Grave and the Stinson crash site with pink, orange or red ribbons along the way. Getting a little lost, just look for the closest ribbon to get back on track. Beyond Westrays grave the track stops, but the creek can be followed up through to the amazing Larapinta falls, rock hopping about 45 minutes can get a bit tricky at times, and ribbons not so easy to spot. But making your way up to the falls is well worth it! Recommend good shoes with ankle support (about 6 hours return)

good incline on mosy of the route. pretty scenes. take the short path down to the coastal rocks. there is a path to follow just slightly hidden

Great hike with some great scenery. In winter the hike is great for testing your skills in the snow without going to far of the beaten track.

Especially nice on a cloudy and misty day...

Nice walking track, enjoyed with family.

First time at the top of Australia fantastic !

Great and historic hike

Easy walking on a 4WD trail, except for the last section which is on a steep foot trail. No view from the top, but the Aboriginal site is worth the short detour.

Glad I found this trail - perfect for young kids (starting at Belmont, there is a long, but gradual uphill section - but coming back is easy). Cafe near the end, and a few beaches are in relatively easy reach of the track. We had a swim at Nine Mile Beach on the way back. Rail tunnel is lots of fun!

This route actually follows a now disused & overgrown track from Blythe Homestead to the base of the escarpment below Tolmer Falls. It is best to treat it as an off trail walk because very little of the original track remains. From the waypoint "Start Climb' the escarpment is climbed - there was never a track here, but this is the easiest & safest route to the top. From there it is a relatively easy hike over rock & scrub to the creek crossing above the waterfall. Once over the creek near the bench a maintained & popular track leads to the carpark.

A great ride around the city to see the sites, with plenty of cafe options for coffee.

We visited the area as part of the Cape to Cape Hike. We started with the Meelup Trail and thought that Bunker Bay was the prettiest beach ever... until we got to Smith's Beach. Wow - what a gorgeous place to visit. Sugarloaf was also very pretty in the late afternoon. I think the only thing prettier than the Northern section of this coastline is the Southern section - check out the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park - Augusta and Boranup guide (which should show on the Nearby Guides section).
