This trail took about 2.5 hours to complete and had a steep, very rocky climb in one section. I wouldn’t rate this section easy. Parts of the track in the gully are becoming overgrown with spiky berries so wear pants.

Hiked Walhalla - Poverty Point - Thomson station - Walhalla (18.5km). Track is overgrown with blackberries for much of the way and there are lots of fallen trees you have to scramble over or under. Pretty scenery, and a few snakes along the way. Mostly flat except for a cracker of a hill as you depart Thomson towards Walhalla

The write up for this walk is very very misleading. It is actually a climb over boulders. You are climbing up a creek.

Super challenging on the way up, but definitely well worth it with heaps of amazing foliage and scenery. well worth the trip to the top!

Beautiful scenery. Need to cross over several roads at points, but just look out for the orange markers. Some fallen trees to step/climb over. Out is slightly downhill, and back slightly uphill.

This trail is rated medium difficulty by the Dharawal National Park. Good signage and clear path. There are a few sneaky little places you can hop off the trail to get some awesome pics. Harder on the way back as you are going uphill. Would definitely do it again.

Very rocky. Steep. Loose gravel. Water was all dried up & stagnant. Not really worth the walk today, but maybe after a wet couple of days would be more worthwhile.

Great walk for kids and very beautiful but such a shame there is nothing else to do around there and you cannot go in the water. far away from anything else for the short walk it is.

I loved this walk. Especially the Lyre birds! They are amazing. For those that don’t do a lot of exercise I would imagine some of the hills rather challenging. I did use a weighted pack on this walk and enjoyed it and found it still easy. I will be doing it again.

Great easy trail, our dog loved it too. Completed in 1 hour with a fast pace.

Great combo of challenge, scenery, pace and distance.

Great hike through subtropical rainforest. Beautiful views within and amazing views from Bare Rock and other lookouts.

Heartbreak hill at the beginning is rather challenging but once up its quite easy.
Wide track and plenty of bird life early in the morning. Nice bush but no views or anything special about it.

Beautiful hike with nice caves.

I don’t drive so is r
There any public transport that can get you close enough to walk to this also Eaton’s hill cedar creek any transport close enough thanks

Way too many people for my taste. So many walks that you can work as hard as this one on without the (unfriendly) crowds. I prefer a track where people say, “hi”, as you cross paths over this which feels a bit them and us.

Beautiful walk suitable for the whole family

Awesome trail!! so many incredible waterfalls and bustling wildlife! the luscious dense rainforest is just something from the imagination and every few meters you are inspired even more by the beauty you are seeing! stopped at the picnic area down the bottom to have lunch, walked up the river bed a bit and found some nicer swimming holes where I could swim freely. track took 4 hours of actual walking return. highly recommend this trail !!! my phone said 13km at the end.

Great hike. Not sure on distance signs say 17km. Garmin says 15km. Will go again for sure!

busy walk not a quiet stroll, I didnt do the steps but walked on the side track and it had alot of gravel, take poles if you have them to avoid slipping.

beautiful walk, amazing waterfalls, nice easy hike. great for beginners, children

Unbelievable hike! Took us 7 nights and 8 days starting in melaleuca and ending at cockle creek. We got very lucky with weather and because of that we lucked out with some wildlife, like the spotted tailed quoll and most of the endemic birds! The days over the passes are pretty tough though so be ready for a challenge. I would recommend camping as close as you can to the base of the iron range before going over (Louisa River). Would highly recommend this hike to people who want remote wilderness and some unbelievable beaches along the way.

We walked this circuit today. Went anticlockwise. Had great lunch at Numinba Lookout. Some features could be sign posted better. It was a gradual uphill slope on the way back which tests the legs.

Lovely walk around Manly Dam with the nice surprise of a pretty waterfall as well.

Very poorly marked. Done the Split Rock Track and was very keen to continue on to the falls. Didn't realize we had to go back and follow a different trail to do so. Followed the red arrows for 2 hours and ended up in a massive expanse of rock with a random red arrow pointing ahead and no other ones to follow. Turned around and came back too exhausted to continue to the falls where we should have turned. Hard and challenging hike and even though we never got to our destination we would definitely come back and try again. Do recommend reading your map well beforehand

great short trail. spectacular cliffside views of the surrounding mountains and Canberra.

Tough hike with all the stairs but great views!

Track walked in reverse to recommended route. Long climb from the valley floor up to Binna Burra. Not for the faint hearted. Signage was inadequate from this direction but we fumbled through ok. Took a detour along the Coomera Circuit heading from Binna Burra to Lamington. The waterfalls were worth it! Fantastic walk over 3 days. Looking forward to doing it again in reverse.

Beautiful local walk

Wonderful walk. Start at Elysian Rock Lookout for sunrise.
