beautiful!

Great trail not far from the city. Take bug repellent, wear long sleeves, pants, and supportive footwear. Overall worthwhile experience!

Incredible waterfall!

challenging but so worth it !!

really fun with the climbing !

This trail is awesome, esp after the rains we finally had. The waterfalls (I believe there are 6 but you cross them several times at different levels) and the creeks were flowing really well. Made the crossings a little tricky but only one wet foot, so not complaining. The views are spectacular and it’s nicely covered too. Some fallen trees added an extra dimension in negotiating the trail, but again, all do-able. We took out time admiring the views and taking photos (we saw a lot of wildlife) and managed to finish it in 5 hours. The café near the main outlook provided well deserved (we thought anyway) and much needed refreshments. Can recommend this walk, and we’ll be back!

This trail was quite the undertaking for me and my girlfriend. We started it from Alice Springs on August 18th. We completed it on August 31st (a day earlier then planned, but we had to rush because a broken tent zip is quite a problem on this trail). Two major things to note in my opinion, the flies on the Larapinta was the hardest to contend with. The second thing is that you just cannot trust the water source recorders on section 9. TAKE ENOUGH WATER FOR THE ENTIRE SECTION WITH YOU. It was amazing, and I would happily do it again!

Had a great time on this hike. It’s a steady but not too strenuous climb from the restaurant at the top of the chairlift to the summit. The track consists of a metal board walk for most of the way and then a well-formed path to the very top of Australia. Easily done in about 5-6 hours (depending on fitness and how long you spend at the top). We timed it so we could have lunch at the top of the mountain. Some spectacular landscapes to take in on the way plus some awesome views. As a bonus, you can get a beer at Thredbo when you get back as a reward for all your hard work!

Steep trek down to base of waterfall. Lots of rock stairs but a fair amount of loose dirt to navigate down. Very shady with all the lush ferns surrounding the track and you could very easily have a dip in the shallow pool under waterfall. Picnic area up top with BBQ and a camping area with toilet just down the road. No dogs allowed as it’s National Park.

C'est un joli parcour au contact de la nature. Les sentiers sont aménagés et dégagés avec quelques beaux points de vue. Je recommande

This was a fun and unexpected hike. The bat's were amazing and need to be seen to be believed. There are parts of the track which are signposted as do not enter. About 200m overall. Enter at your own risk! Track is predominantly along the river and though there are some frequented parts, there are plenty of isolated parts too. The not so distant thrumming of the motorway will be with you about half the entire hike. A decent pace will take you under 2 hours

Randonnée très agréable. Demande un minimum de condition physique pour la montée si elle est faite dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre. Mais facile avec des pauses. Et puis les vues sont magnifiques rendant les pauses très sympas.

Nice trail with several creek crossings nice to see elements of the Gold Rush era. Will do this one again :)

Love this hike! One of my favourites

The north and eastern halves are the most interesting sections. The walk along the dam conversely is quite boring. The north and east sections are cooler woodlands. Factor that in your walk if hiking on a hot day. I did the loop clockwise: dont miss the first turn and follow the bright orange arrows and poles. The view from the north east knoll is superb.

Beautiful views and a nice walk around the bay

Beautiful and well maintained. Great views. Highly recommended

Good trail with some definitely steep sections on Dozer, but not loose or super rocky. Shame about the bitumen finish.
