Easy flat ride on asphalt/gravel and a good way to travel from Wallaroo to Kadina. Nothing much to see along the way besides the old race course and farms, but very peaceful throughout. Nearing the end you see the outskirts of the Kadina community and all the rustic housing lining the track.

HikingGreat!

Mostly bush, close to suburbia. Varied with a couple of slightly more technical bits. done parts will get muddy after rains. Nice variety of bushland from mangroves to dry sandstone. I took a shortcut to North Ryde station behind the Honeywell building. My recording missed the first section.

Hiking

A quite challenging climb but with the best rewards. The rainforest is stunning, Lizard Point is amazing. Be very careful if you take the supposed shortcut route coming down. It is a route, not a clear trail. We got off to the left and had a horrible time getting back onto the ridge. The traditional way up is very slippery in the wet. Awesome campsites, but please people, no fires. This was my first time using Alltrails and I messed up at the start of the descent and closed it. Had to start a new route for the tricky descent, finishing in the dark.

Amazing seeing the water during a drought, saw wild watercress in the pools, had an icy dip in the water, fairly flat easy walk, was a bit hot - only remembered to record this on the way back - so double time and distance

Nice hike. We did it clockwise which meant the second half of the loop was uphill. A good workout. Our phones recorded this as 20 kms not 17.5 kms. Felt like 20 kms too!

Part of the Great North Walk on Hunters Hill side of Lane Cove River. Through Lovetts Reserve, Blackman Park and Ventemens Reach on Lane Cove West side. A great wander close to suburbia. Plenty of bush land. Some road walking to make a loop. Plenty of walkers/joggers/dog lovers making good use of the track. Plenty of options for cafe stops and public toilets.

A good work out bush walk. Clear open trails with plenty of ups and downs in the second half of the loop going clock wise. Beautiful variety of trees and a few pademelons. No breaks in the vegetation to check out the views along the ridge. Took around 4.45 hrs 22km's (slight detour).

The bush sections along the river are spectacular and relatively easy bush walking. A few wet and muddy sections. Some great board walks thru mangroves. The return via burns bay rd is a little busy after the calm of the bush. Note there is a section near Epping Rd that had closed signs, you can proceed but it is an asbestos risk. Detours are available via the roads marked Mars Rd.

Great 2 day hike, ended up staying at Ingar Campground, very possible to do in one day, just be prepared to cross the shallow creek barefooted

We did this track last weekend, and went a little further - see red bit at the bottom. Thus is where the creek/pond is. If you just end up doing a regular track it is not too steep. Lota if ups and downs, solid 17km, took us about 6 hours. Very dry and rocky path so bring some good hiking shoes.

Well signed gravel track that a hybrid bike could manage. Needn't be a full MTB. Long up and a long down. Changing views with some cool spots along the way; quary, waterfalls, disused stations, tunnels etc.
