A really good suburban heart starter. Does not ease up the whole way.
Cool and windy day, so it was a bit easier. Not a lot of shade so it could be tougher on hotter, less windy days. View from the top is fantastic! 2 hrs 15 min round trip at a relatively brisk pace, including a 20 min soaking in of the panorama. Came back down via the fire trail, which was pretty quick, but steep with slippery gravel. Less animals than other trails but still the occasional group of roos on the first third of the climb. Most prevalent animals were the flies that would just not leave me alone.
Nice trail but more of an easy trail than a moderate one. A lot of rise for the distance covered but it is a paved trail and lots of families do it
Enjoyable walk, with enough elevation to make it a workout. Saw heaps of birds, and the views from Mt Arawang were fabulous
I would recommend this hike for experienced hikers as there isn’t really a defined trail. Well worth it to go in the morning as the sun will get hot later in the day.
I took my three year old on this walk and he handled it well. It is narrow in sections but easily navigated. Not a bad walk so close to queanbeyan.
Defently easy in some areas. It rangers from hard in spots mostly moderate and a few easy areas. Starts with a bit of a climb, stairs in a few spots and narrow in areas. Nice green opening at the end.
pleasant walk on a cool day. magnificent views.
for walk and run
Great hike, trail is well worn and I’m pretty good condition and the view from the top is spectacular!
I followed the Lake Burley Griffin path. Ran some walked some. Ran out of time so didn’t finish the full loop. Amazing though considering the location. A pleasant surprise.
Great trail, moderate incline and open hills and good views. This one is really close if you live in Gungahlin. The best part was seeing heaps of Kangaroos !
1.75 hours up, 1.25 hours down. A great challenge!
Took 2 hours to reach summit and about 2 hours to come back to visitors centre. It’s a very good walk and fully recommend it!!
Pleasant easy walk with spectacular views through trees
Great views, be prepared to navigate the path using the app, not following the trails.
Sophie P. on Tidbinbilla Peak Loop
My friend and I were not able to find the starting point to this hike sadly. If anyone can pinpoint where it begins that would be great.
Well travelled and popular hike, a difficult climb but an amazing view at the summit.
Brilliant walk. Steep! Yes. Hard Yes! You’ve gotta take water. Plenty of people on the track we passed didn’t seem prepared!
Awesome 14.5 km track from visitor centre. Took 4.5hr incl. a .5 break at peak. A bit foggy this morning on the way up so the view was limited but awesome views from peak and coming down.
It was absolutely amazing out there on the trails enjoyed it on my mountain bike
nice little walk along the gorge and river. Hidden gem close to Canberra
The car is locked in botanic garden because the garden is close after 5 pm and we have to ask friend to pick us.
Lovely trail ..great views. We had gorgeous weather. No bike riders. Great to walk your dog too
Annoying the loop as the app seemed to glitch and not let me follow the trails too much. Annoying. All in all the trails are quiet when we went mid week. However, if you were to do the walk on the weekends, you’d be dodging the mountain bikers
