The description of this hike is WRONG. It does NOT go past either the monastery or shrine, and does not even start in Lusagyugh. Instead, it starts on the edge of Yeghipatrush and goes up to Mt Teghenis from the east. That said, this is a good, tough hike with exceptional scenery at the top. If you want to actually go on the hike that is described, follow https://www.hikingproject.com/trail/7042203/lusagyugh-trail, which gives the REAL route.

Finally, this hike has exceptionally steep uphill and downhill sections (up to a half kilometer) which are far from moderate.
