Once in a life time hike. I highly recommend renting crampons.

best hike in Patagonia

Totally worth it to hike than taking the lift up. Beautiful 360 views at the top!

Es hermoso, y al llegar a la cima, hay un extraño y curioso camino que se aleja y se mete por el bosque.

I have never given a trail a one star review before so this is a first. The trail itself is incredibly dusty with a fine dust that gets in everywhere, including your lungs and eyes. And no sign of a view until you get to the top. While the view from there is good there are many better trails to chose from in the area.

There are some rocky parts but overall it was the easiest trekking I have done in Chile/Argentina area.

Relaxing lakeside and forest walk to the border with Chile.

The views are amazing, the trail is in perfect condition and even though it says hard only the last hour of the hike justifies this label. Still very doable. We did it on a sunny Sunday after a period of bad weather which resulted into this being the most crowded hike ever (queuing to go down etc..), hence the 4 and not 5 stars.

Very calm and accessible trail mostly through the forest.

it's a steady 8km track with only a slight pull towards the end (if leaving from the post office). At present, the trail is very boggy and muddy in places and there is horse muck almost the entire length of the trail. the guide book says you have great views of the beagle channel, but you don't really. You get good woodland sections and pebble beach walking experiences along a pleasantly undulating trail. The walk has yellow markings, but there are small stints where the markings are absent and it's at those sections when markings would be useful! Odd design. Overall, it is a lovely walk in the national park.

Beautiful surroundings during this walk in NP TdF. It's an easy stroll, so enjoy the views instead of the trail in front of you!

The views along the trail were amazing. The trail itself is more like a walk than a hike, not challenging.

Delightful trail easy to start gradual for the most of it. A few steep sections at the end and an absolutely stunning view most of the way that got better at the top. Busy but not crowded and better on a sunny day.

Very easy hike and totally worth it. Starts relatively flat through a lovely forest with occasional stream views. When you emerge from the forest and see the glacier, continue walking toward it and you'll find a gorgeous glacial lake.

We took the (overpriced) catamaran ferry out and the trail back. Nice walk in the woods. Some up and down, the latter slippery in the dust. Very glad we passed on mountain bikes, as traction would be bad. Way longer than the advertised 12K but no more than moderate. Would suggest kayaking one way and hiking the other, since it’s out and back.

Great hike with good perspective of Fitz Roy, et al at the top. Unfortunately for us, there were a few clouds covering Fitz Roy but the 360 degree views all around certainly made it worth the hike, anyway. I also had some serious wind to fight on the final push to the summit. A few days before, we were in Torres del Paine park with a wind advisory of 70 KPH. The wind at the top of this hill was every bit that strong and gusting higher. At the windiest point just before the summit, I was on all fours a couple times, crabbing my way up. The vast majority of this hike I would rate as easy-moderate, and only the final push is hard. If, like my wife, you choose not to summit the hill, you will still have excellent views from the lookout (the tip of the triangle in the map). We hiked at a leisurely pace. My inexact app showed 11.57 miles and 6:33 of hiking time. A great hike - highly recommended!

Nice forest walk along the coast! Very accessible and easy walk with beautiful views along the way. Took us about 4h with many stops for pictures and lunch along the way. We also spotted some dolphins and saw quite some birds along the way. Park & transportation fees (from Ushuaia) make quite the costly trip though.

brilliant easy walk tina viewpoint over the mountains and glacier. restrooms are available at the turnaround point. trail leads straight up out of town. A short pull at the start and at the end but nothing too hard. Poles not needed for this stretch. Path is very clear and well worn so you can't get lost!

The trial is straightforward and mostly flat. The lower falls has a minor decent at the beginning and ascent at the end. The views are pretty wonderful in spots but none nearly as breathtaking as the Devil’s Throat.

From the parking lot to the vista at the lake, we recorded 14.2 miles. The first 9 km is not that bad, the last 1 km is a serious grinder with ~1200 ft of elevation gain. Nice that much of the trail is shaded and you have glorious views of the mountains almost all the way up.

Excellent hike! It was about 12 miles round trip from our lodging in town. ~1,826 ft. Total elevation gain. Not that difficult, much of the trail is shaded. Awesome views of Cirro Torre from Lago Torre. We were blessed with a blue bird day! Spectacular!
